A CSX local crew out of Cayce, South Carolina has just worked an industrial plant near Rosewood Drive and is now navigating the crickety and overgrown rails back to their mainline. The crew is actually in the other locomotive as the train is going away from us.
CSXT 2519 was built by EMD in 1973 for Seaboard Coast Line as GP38-2 #519.

The KLBDUD 13's CSX Pushers get ready to drop off the 1.65% grade at Hesperia. The Union Pacific was able to use its routing options with this train due to Sunset Route track work which usually takes place in the winter due to obvious reasons. This train with take the LA&SL line to the Overland route to complete it's run to Dupo, Illinois

I can't remember the last time that I saw CSX train Q090, a Union Pacific run-through train with perishable produce from the California and the Pacific Northwest that goes to a warehouse near Albany, New York. Here it is on Tuesday afternoon in Berea, Ohio. It still operates with Union Pacific motive power.

On March 21, 2008, CSX 6020 leads train A781 for it's return trip to Hawthorne. CSX use to run their power around the train in Keuka for their 9 mile trip back to Hawthorne. However, about 2011, they started using a shoving platform (Caboose) in lieu of going to Keuka to run around their train.
