CSX 638 leads Q301 west on the Lehigh Line. The "as-delivered" paint on this unit is in fairly good condition considering it was applied 17 years earlier.

This CSX Auto Rack shows off a new slogan that seems vaguly familiar, though I can't quite place it for some reason. ;-)

Wisconsin Central SDP45 #6634 & CSX SD50 #8621 lead a southbound CSX ore train across Cecil St. crossing.

CSX 8513 & 8026 with Q-296 at Versailles, PA on May 24, 1998. There was an overlook behind the baseball fields up in Liberty that served as a high vantage point at the time. I'm sure it is all grown in now. My camera was having severe malfunctions where the shutter did not open all the way and I ended up with many photo's that are dark on the right hand side. Some images were fine, and in extreme cases I got only about 3/4 of an image. I eventually got a new camera.

An empty CSX rock train glides through Van Wyck, South Carolina with two former Seaboard Systems units as power. CSXT B36-7 5859 was built for Seaboard Sysetm as SBD 5859 in 1985. It was retired shortly after thisphotograph and scrapped in Waycross, Georgia in 2011.

CSX EMD SD40 4601 was built in 1969 as Louisville & Nashville 1233, to Baltimore & Ohio, same number, to Seaboard System 8309 to CSXT 4601. It has also since been retired.

CSX M204-15 has CSX 1972 Family Line System trailing 2nd headed eastbound through Buffalo NY bound for Selkirk NY 3-16-25.

Sort of a rare leader in these parts and just about at the latest time that I'd shoot from the ground this time of year. I despise how quickly the light turns to crap in the summer.

Geepers. 3 CSX to be exact. C770 is working on putting together their train, with 3 old school Geeps doing the work.

Twas a nice surprise on this eve to find under the blink of my flashes, a bright red locomotive in the form of CSX 911. This was unbeknownst to me until I got a last minute heads up from a friend who informed the crew I would be out and flashing. I received an excellent hornshow.

CSX 5331 leads an intermodal train through Iona Island near Bear Mountain New York.

CSX Q136 heads east out of Cumberland with a new crew on board. It is seen passing through the newly re-signaled Mexico interlocking.

CSX M205-05 has CSX 1850 L&N leading headed westbound through Clyde NY bound for Louisville KY 1-5-24.

CSX train Q381 is at milepost 23 on the ex P&LE as it enters Monaca, PA on March 16, 1994. The track in the foreground is the lead to the West end of Blacks Run Yard.
