A pair of 4 axle GE's, led by 3137 still in SBD System colors, with train K387 on the old P&LE main at West Pittsburg, PA. CSX had changed the old P&LE main into it's track #2 at New Castle Yard, and would soon single track the "ramp" that can be seen swinging off to the right of the engine. The P&W Sub is the upper track and became part of the B&P system, making the ex P&LE between New Castle and Braddock CSX's only route through the Pittsburgh area. This used to be CP43 (MP43) on the P&LE, but CSX changed the mileposts and this is now at MP54.
April 9, 2018: An SD70MAC EMD and ET44AH GE, the power for CSX manifest-Autorack train Q211 (Louisville, KY-Columbia, SC) sits at the Junta Tower signal on the CSX W&A Sub in Cartersville, GA preparing to shove back to North Yard to pick up a string of cars for their train.

February 10, 2018: CSX ethanol train K423-08 (Bensenville, IL-Tampa, FL) motors Southbound on the K&A Main on the CSX Etowah Subdivision at Rydal, GA on a rainy gloomy afternoon. The bright spot for this train was the power set that includes 3 EMD engines (GP40-3, SD40-3, SD40-2) and a lone AC4400CW GE in YN2 paint.

CSX empty crude oil train K055 rolls west toward Chicago and then on to the BNSF, on CSX's former B&O Garrett Sub between Cromwell and Syracuse, Indiana into the late evening sun.

A CSX EMD Road Slug & GP40-2 shove a string of freight cars Southbound on the W&A Subdivision at Cartersville, GA on 3-24-2017. This local freight is headed for an industrial area known as "the hole" that's on the South side of town.

CSX train Q403 rolls through Northeast Philadelphia, after sitting in the siding for quite awhile, determining what to do about an open boxcar door. The seasons first snow led to really bad road conditions, and worse drivers. This was as far as I could get for the photo.
