There were many people here. We caused quite the traffic jam. Many people asked what was happening. The answer we gave was, "train's coming". The cows were pretty cool too.
Train: CN L518 with BLE 867 (SD38AC), BLE 878 (SD38-2), and BLE 905 (SD45T-2).

WSOR's 351-21 job comes back from Spring Grove, IL on their Fox Lake Subdivision and enters Wisconsin, just south of Hebron, IL. An old Espee SD40 variant in Helm Dark Blue leads a handful of cars heading back for Janesville, WI.
I was literally on the way home from my T4 chase when this train was randomly rolling eastbound over Hwy. 12 in Richmond, IL just a few hours before, and was a nice way to end the day. Quite the chance encounter on a line that sees the bulk of its' activity under the cover of darkness.
Tunnel under the railway bridge near the Ace Cafe, Harlesden London. This is a composit image with the figure added from another image. I thought it just need something to add interest. I like the result.
Twilight,River to Sea Preserve - Flagler County, FL.
The sky lightens along the eastern coast of Florida at River to Sea Preserve.
I've processed this image several times since capturing it several years ago. I have never been quite happy with the results before. I have always wanted to convey the glow from the soon to rise sun, and I think I may have actually accomplished it this time.

With a setting sun, a parked tank train waits to head east after a westbound freight and a few commuter trains go through Winfield, Illinois. I wanted to catch the sun directly over the water tower and I did, but I liked the gentler lighting in this shot. I intended to stay at this location just long enough to catch the sunset but it was such a beautiful evening and there was so much train traffic I stayed an hour longer photographing one train after another. It was a perfect time to try out different settings on my camera as the light changed quickly. Have a great weekend everyone :-)

Female donkeys are in heat for a week or so. I saw over 300 donkeys and many were pair bonding; neck biting, rubbing against each other and playfulness. I'll post several more photos in the coming days.

The peony dance.
The peonies got tangled in the clouds.
They are attracted by the pale blue distances.
And it seems that right in front of my eyes,
They soared in the sky, flew...
And their petals smoothly and easily
Intertwined in the air, playing,
They were blown far away by the wind.
What they dreamed of was coming true.
And by making a bet with the cicadas,
They were dancing in a waltz of a bright sunset.
Their dance lasted until dawn.
The sun burst in, and everything disappeared somewhere...
but nothing.The ball is not over yet.
Until the evening, the heroes only dispersed.
And they are waiting impatiently for the day to come in heaven.
That's the hour. And the evening arranged everything....(this dance was performed in my garden...)
