RKO_5529. Approaching vulture! After the lions left the kill it was great fun to wait for the incoming vultures. A nice challenge to get some good flight shots as many times it was unpredictable how/from what side they would come in.

COMING BACK HOME
Colorful dreams shine a light
Opening joy within my heart
Music so lovely and bright
Insight as warm and wise as art
Naked truth shines so white
Gracing lives with a fresh start
Bringing back the wonder of love
Alive and alert, feelings so sure
Craving hope God sends from above
Keeping vigilant, a promise so pure
Happiness is alive and thriving, full
Opening up brave hearts to know
Memories chanting, by the handful
Enlightening sweet laughter to grow

I'm busy building my new place.. Autumn has been covered over in snow and ice for Winter. There's no telling what will happen on the ground below. :D
The Snow will open on 10 December :)
When I glaze upon this surreal image I feel a yearning in my heart. A place where one would love to come home to. A simpler life surrounded by nature slowly unfolding her magic around you. You can just imagine walking down the gravel road smelling deeply the green grass and that special smell that only a freshly cut field can give off.
Welcome home.
Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse is on the coast of the North Sea in Rubjerg on the top of Lønstrup Klint (cliff). Shifting sands and coastal erosion are a serious problem in the area. The lighthouse ceased operating on 1 August 1968. It was expected that the tower would fall into the sea by 2023; however, on 22 October 2019 the 23 metres (75 ft) high lighthouse, weighing 720 tonnes, was moved 70 m (230 ft) inland on specially built rails.
‘Sakura’ is the generic term of genus Cerasus (or Prunus subg. Cerasus). There are a lot of wild species and cultivars in the genus. The photo is of this season’s first bloom of ‘Beni-shidare’, a weeping variation of ‘Edo-higan’ (Cerasus itosakura), which is one of wild species Sakura native to Japan. This year, Sakura in this region has started blooming almost two weeks earlier than usual.

I was looking at something and saw something else and suddenly I was taking another picture. Guess my brain's heading in a particular direction right now, eh?
There is this small park between the bus stop and my house. In January 2026 it will be covered in snow and offers an exciting play of the three colors blue, white and orange. The Polar Express could also stop here at Christmas.
This small stream at the head of Jokelfjord, in Troms region, Norway, had been swollen by rain in the mountains. When I arrived, the rain was coming my way.

A Juvenile Red Tail Hawk coming in hot!! The Redtail looked like it was going to land in our yard. However, the Hawk spotted me on our deck taking photos, and he flew over our home. Photo taken in Camas, Washington.
Explored :)
This was taken at the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary in Sabah. It was feeding time. I'm not sure, but I think the trainers have actually trained several of them to walk along the rail on the way to the feeding station. It was a rush to be so close. Here's a link if you want to know more about these beautiful animals.
