Happy to see Wahclella Falls again after the trail was re-opened on August this year after 2 years closure due to Eagle Creek Fire (Sep 2017).
There are still a lot of trees and vegetation recovering after the fire but Nature is still beautiful and it's showing it off like these Falls.
Thanks to all that work hard to make this trail ready again for us.
Reminiscent of many a WWII scene, B-17 Flying Fortress 'Sally B' returns to earth after her evocative display at the 2016 RNAS Yeovilton Air Day.
She's been delighting us for over 40 years now since first arriving in the UK back in 1975. Let's hope she remains that way.

I love the way the flower colour changes on this hydrangea from from pale acid green to a bright magenta as it matures
DL SC7 gets ready to turn into DL3 and head onto NS trackage to pull out 54 cars. They are seen here returning after shoving a couple cars down the Carbondale lead so the mall siding is clear for when they come back with the 54 inbounds. This was also in close to -5 degree weather.

We spent the weekend in Madeira Beach (near St. Petersburg, FL), and left yesterday right before they declared a mandatory evacuation. Hurricane Ian is headed that way and expected to arrive tomorrow.

These are blossoms from a small shrub that rests on our apartment's balcony. My son and daughter-in-law gave it to me a few years ago when I reached a landmark birthday. In the repotting process I was able to share a plant with them for their patio.
Guessing which will be my first Iris of the year ...
