Cincinnati's Sky Star is being dismantled and shipped out of state. Already the 36 gondolas are gone. Will be replaced within the year by an even bigger Ferris Wheel. It's been a big attraction at The Banks.

Sometime in the next few weeks the Mountain Bluebirds will arrive and for me that is the start of the spring birding season!
The odd swirly bokeh are the Christmas lights I usually use to create shots like this. Unfortunately, they are very orange light and kinda overpowered the scene so I directed the blue flood LED onto them instead to create this. Ordered some colour change ones off Amazon that will hopefully arrive soon!

The day before thanksgiving in an unnamed desert valley in Washoe County, Nevada. Very cold and just starting to snow. Very remote area and difficult to get too.
