The Lighthouse in Glasgow is Scotland's Centre for Design and Architecture
The Lighthouse was the first public commission completed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh
Walking down from St. Mary's on the top of the cliff, one has a panorama view of Whitby's East and West Piers and the two Breakwaters. The sea can be ferocious, and I tried to feel what the fishermen might feel when getting out of the cruel sea and entering the protected calm of the harbour.
Osprey just after exiting the water unfortunately without a catch. We did see it have a successful dive a short while later but out of camera range. Lake Ontario shoreline.

The only way that it can describe why I love these abandoned old time capsules of homes is that it is the closest that I will ever come to "time travel." There's a fascinating world out there.
