Part of my final project portfolio for a photography BFA class at Arizona State University. The project consisted of three elements: a pentimento (in this case, double exposures, half taken in Des Moines and half in New York City), a homage to some early work by the photographer Thomas Struth, and a textual element suggested by the photographer Alec Soth.

Despite appearances, 'Gunship 1' doesn't have the MTADS pointed towards the camera intentionally, it's just in the normal stowed position.

Why not view the set as a slide-show?
Also I often upload more than one image at the same time, I see a tendency to only view the last uploaded...

Part of my final project for my first BFA photography course at Arizona State University. My project, called Coming & Going, includes three elements. First, using the photographic version of a pentimento (in this case, double exposures). Second, paying homage to one of Thomas Struth's first exhibits, which featured photos of streets in New York City and his hometown of Dusseldorf (in my case, New York City and Des Moines). Finally, based on a project proposed by Alec Soth, combine a photograph with some basic descriptive text, and then consider whether it's better with or without the words.

I was away in Kansas visiting my fiance Manny. Wesley stayed at doggie camp- I got home this morning and picked him up this afternoon. Wesley was very happy to see me- gave me hugs and kisses! He is such a good boy and I am so lucky to have him!
Manny will be here to visit us in early July for one week, I can't wait for Wesley to meet his Daddy.
