Saw this large snail in Glasgow Green this evening. My wife nearly stepped on it. Don't see many snails about these days. Lots of slugs, but not many shell carrying snails. This one seemed quite happy to pose as long as we didn't tramp around it. Must be sensitive to the vibrations I suppose. Anyway, one of the last photos of a good day in town.

A loaded containerised coal train from Pelton passes a waiting Pacific National empty coalie waiting for the road at East Greta Junction, SMR.
The interior of the Block 37 shopping mall, a rather uninspiring piece of architecture in the middle of Chicago's loop. Hey, at least it connects the pedway. This was shot in December. Pretty much everything in there at the time was "coming soon".
All the cool kids are going large these days.
