Christmas may have been as good as cancelled this year and all normal activities suspended until the Covid crisis is over, but here's some images from last year's Christmas market in Lincoln with the magnificent cathedral lit up in glorious colour to add some much needed festive cheer.

Some of the results of an exploratory photo-walk, that became a kind of mini-project as part of what I hope will become a much bigger one this year.
I have a thing for these discarded, abandoned Christmas Trees scattered about the roads in the New Year. Some of them hang around for months afterwards in strange places. It's hard to think of these being carefully chosen, lovingly decorated, given pride of place in a warm home, twinkling in corners and rooms and windows...
A long term project , with a focus on developing a coherent edit from a body of work 'grown' over time, rather than a search for a single 'flickr friendly' single image, so don't hold your breath! ;)
The family took a short walk on Christmas in Waterbury, Vermont on the road that my in-laws live on. Took a few shots along the way. The sun hitting the mountains was beautiful, better in person than I've managed to capture here.

christmas decorations are now on display and christmas carols are being sung in the airwaves as the "ber" months ushers in the early christmas celebrations in the philippines. this is a normal tradition locally. i took these images last septem'ber' but only got to post them today. anyways a jolly christmas to you guys!
I've had nothing to do for almost a week and a half now since I've been on break so I decided to do something nice, and make treats for my mom's class. They're brownies shaped like trees with frosting and sprinkles for lights, and a candy cane for the stump. We all watched the Polar Express, with the brownies and hot chocolate. Good day, good day indeed.
