This was a Coca-Cola Christmas tram found in Milan with Santa Claus on it! Wow!
I haven't had much time for pictures lately, and I need models to pose for me!!! Any creative volunteers? Hopefully I will take more pictures next year.

Taking the lens completely out of focus for the last few seconds of this long exposure gave the halos around the bulbs. Maybe I should try this again at f/2.8 or so just for fun - the blurs would be so much bigger!

Christmas is officially a great time for prime lenses. My 50mm f/1.4 was very happy to see this custom made decoration we got from WDW some time ago with these lights in the background. Thanks for lookin', and have a great day!

Sorry to say that my specimen just can`t tell the time . It is either early or late & sometimes both !!!! But it never flowers at Christmas time . Perhaps I should talk to it more kindly & not just scold it.
Christmas lights decorating the Saline County courthouse in Benton, Arkansas.
A digital composite of two exposures to replace detail in the lightest areas. I also flipped and copied the foreground curve of luminarias from the right to the left, since the left curve wasn't lit that night.
As of 2007-10-16, this had reached as high as #389 in the "Explore" pages for December 20, 2005.

Christmas is certainly a time to count blessings and dinner down the street with Auntie and Uncle is something we've enjoyed for the last 40 years and Auntie, amazingly, makes it more magical every year.

My first year as a pro user ended not so long ago, and I'm still into the Flickr spirit.

I bought this fireplace last year in a set of toys. The original color was violet, an improper color for it.
I painted it in 2 stage:
1. the part that looks like the brick and stone in the first place , wit a combination of red, orange and brow.
2. the "wooden" parts in white, the brown was to dark.
Do you like it? Will you try to do this by your self?

Traditional Christmas cake (about the only Christmas tradition here).
Umbrella'd strobe up-right, semi-transparent gobo (tracing paper) in the back to give light falloff and give a bit of fill light.

Since Caroline and I have been married when we travel to a new place we make a point of buying a Christmas tree ornament. Each year when we put up the tree it is fun to see the ornaments and remember the fun times.
This is just one section of all of the travel ornaments. We have another area of the tree for all of the family memories.
