Christmas at full speed in Philadelphia suburbia. Another low light EP2 shot. Loving this camera. Only major drawback so far is the slow AF, which makes it quite difficult to take photos of kids running around.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thanks for your visit and for all the wonderful Christmas wishes. Time to cook Christmas dinner, so will catch up with everyone later.
In 1982 we lived in Amesbury, Massachusetts. My parents came visiting at Christmas. James was 3 at the time and Carolyn was 10 months. It was her first Christmas and my father's last. He died in January, 1983.
Taken on the Riverwalk area in downtown San Antonio, TX. The Christmas lights are dangling from the cypress branches drooping over the river.
After a long Christmas meal at Paul Bocuse, I was dropped off by taxi at the centre de ville and took a nice long stroll along the rue de Republique to the Soane, where I took this picture of the tree of flowers with the festive ferris wheel rising in the background.
I crossed the bridge and made my way to Part Dieu to catch the TGV back to Paris. Altogether, it was a special Christmas.
My dad and my aunt opening presents. But what did me and my sisters notice? THAT CHAIR. On the right, in the background. Me any my little sis are both absolutely in love with that chair, and wish they'd held on to it. Rich blue, mid-Century design with silver accent thread?? Oh my goodness, how fabulous!
The silver tree to match is super-awesome as well.

Not my house, but every year we walk about and find some crazy illuminations...
My Christmas cactus is blooming right in time...sometimes it will bloom close to Christmas and sometimes after...but it timed this year quite well. It'll have blooms steady for a month or so. The two cactus I have bloom like crazy!! I'm so used to them that I don't usually think of taking pictures of them...but their blossoms are so pretty! :)

My sister got a kitten named Timmy for Christmas. He immediately took charge of the model railroad set and played the part of a giant monster attacking the passengers and terrorizing the countryside. Next he attacked a little wind-up toy that would start out as a double-decker bus, go into a tunnel, and come out the other side as a single level bus, then reverse course to go back through in the other direction and pick up the double deck again. At the end of the movie, someone rings his dinner bell in the kitchen and he goes running off.

Christmas tree seller, outside a farm near Milton Abbas -we couldn't oblige and buy one as our new flat is too small.....not a bad shot considering I had the wide angle lens on, in the car, and into the light (with a bit of editing)!
