This year’s Christmas Revels at the Hop, with the help of a talented local chorus of adults and children from the Dartmouth and Upper Valley community, and stellar visiting artists, explores one of the birthplaces of American music: the mountains of southern Appalachia, where Native American, African American, and European traditions combined to foster an astonishing wealth of artistic expression, preserved generation after generation. This is one of those many cases where what I visualized and what I was actually able to achieve were substantially different. I covered the box with wrapping paper and tried to paint the ornaments (3" half dome atop leveled cupcake) to match. I had in mind that the ornaments would blend more with the box, but the recipient was still very pleased. Thanks for looking!
Some Halloween characters got a "mask-over" for Christmas which may explain their not-so-sweet disposition...

The Christmas lights of 2013 in Dublin City Centre.
Former Dublin Bus ghost bus 450ZD/ DF 450 was celebrating its last Christmas with the company scaring its passengers on a nightly run around spooky places.
The giant Christmas tree in the centre of O'Connell Street, now in 2017 sidelined towards North Earl Street due to the northbound LUAS tracks.
Will this be the year Santa brings me the one thing I've always wanted but never got?
An Italian Greyhound.
I've been an awfully good boy this year, so I'll soon see.
If Santa doesn't bring my Italian Greyhound, all isn't lost.
He will have given me the gift of hope.

We asked a select handful of our coursemates to design and illustrate a Christmas-themed postcard around the title “If you could do anything this Christmas..”. 16 designs were produced, then hand screen printed with red and metallic gold, and divided in to packs of eight, being two collections.
