Christmas Farmers Market in December. Little Italy Mercato Farmers' Market in San Diego, California

with zucchini, dried fruits and cinnamon

Christmas in Australia is held in the summer months and is usually spent outdoors or by the beach. A wooden Christmas tree stands in the sand by the ocean at sunrise. A seagull flys overhead

And while these angels will not carol your homes with melodious Christmas songs, they will at least fill your stomachs.

Merry Christmas !

Christmas in the Desert

I'm still getting out the Christmas decorations, in the meantime I'm enjoying last year's decorations.

I love my old Teddy, a gift from my Aunt Margie when I was seven years old (which qualitfies it as "vintage" - maybe even "antique"!

It's so much fun to revisit my Christmas souvenirs every year, a lovely walk down memory lane.

www.1001pallets.com/2013/12/christmas-gifts-for-pallet-lo...

We've searched on Amazon.com some cool Christmas gift ideas for your family pallet lovers and you know what, we found some cool ideas, not too much but a selection of 7 gift ideas around pallets.

There are some cool books for your upcoming pallet projects:

100% Pallet: from Freight to Furniture: 21 DIY Designer Projects by Aurelie Drouet & Jerome Blin

Very cool projects done with pallets, each project is very well detailed with all the instructions to do it yourself.

Build It! With Pallets by Joe Jacobs

Engineer Joe Jacobs has a smallholding and a pig farm in North Yorkshire. He is a regular contributor to Home Farmer magazine and is the author of the "Build It! With Pallets" book.

Wood Pallet Projects: Cool and Easy-to-Make Projects for the Home and Garden by Chris Gleason

Inside you'll find 15 of his inspired projects for rescuing and repurposing pallets. Some of his pieces celebrate the rough, edgy character of the material, while others are crafted as fine furniture. He shows how to construct both indoor and outdoor furniture in a variety of styles, along with other useful items such as a birdhouse, a toolbox, and even a ukulele. There's plenty of nitty gritty here on working with pallets, including where to find them, how to process them into usable lumber, fasteners, sanding, and the best finishes (if any) to use.

If you think that a book is not a cool gift, maybe these little pallet coasters could do the job:

Nutty noodly clusters

Peanut butter white trash snacks

An early Christmas themed tartan dress from Cossette. Tartan of course being one of the most iconic and recognizable patterns in the world yet somehow overlooked and low key.

At Cossette we decided to match these two inside the Blythe world, adding into the mix some red, gold and green. After all what would early Christmas be without red, gold and some green? You see once Halloween and All Saints is behind us, Christmas comes rolling in with all its magic, lights, symbolism and wonderful atmosphere. Cossette just thinks tartan works quite well with all that. Perhaps all you need on top is some quiet classical music to put you in the mood of the coming season - it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Don't forget some chocolate to top it really off... with churros perhaps?

Christmas card with snow, retro style

I knit these oversized Christmas stockings for my three boys this year. They are all about 16 inches in circumference and 20-24 inches long. A great size to fit stuffers of all sizes!

Merry Christmas to all of you and each of you!

It seems it will be a rainy holiday here in Tuscany, so I choose to make the greetings with this Christmas/rainy stolen shot, some post processing using the Gimp 2.6.1 and it's a seamless texture...
