[Straight from camera] I forgot to take any pictures on Thanksgiving so I wanted to be sure to get some of the Christmas settings - even if none of food is out yet. For our first Christmas hosting in our first house, we gave each family member an ornament to remember the holiday by...each couple received matching (but not identical) Christmas balls in gold and red. Napkins were folded in triangular "trees" and the ornaments hung around them. I was quite pleased by the effect.

One of 12 Christmas cards I made in December of 2006 for friends. This one has a fun color combination for a christmas card. I used rub ons for the red letters and free handed the silver letters in the same font. A little bit of sewing and some strips of white mat board were added to this one as well.

Christmas 2008 at the Jacobs/Marshall apartment.
Catching up on pictures after transferring everything to the new bigger hard drive... Time to get caught up.
Christmas and my SUPER COOL Sunshine Family truck with its little shed on the back from which the fam could sell their macrame plant hangers and other such art. Guessing 1974.
So, I'm selling at a craft show on Saturday and I was going to make Christmas tree ornaments but this is the only one I've actually made so far... Next year I guess.

Christmas Reflection 2020
Being unable to celebrate Christmas with family and friends this year 2020, because of Covid-19 and the restrictions imposed upon us, gives us the opportunity to reflect on our lives. To remember loved ones lost and the fragility of life. It provides us the opportunity to plan our respective lives, and what we wish to accomplish in our remaining life.
Isaiah 9:1-7
Nevertheless, that time of darkness and despair will not go on forever.
The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.

T'was the night before Christmas back in 1901 and a woman named Anna sat down at her desk to write a message to her friends back in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. The term Moki was used in those days to refer to Hopi people of Arizona
For this card:
1. Took a photo of a Christmas Doodle.
2. Imported it into Popsicolor and selected an effect and saved it.
3. Started a new canvas in BubbleFrame.
4. Changed the background to one from the apps selection of patterns.
5. Added a new bubble and added the photo just edited in Popsicolor and zoomed out until the tree fit within the circle.
6. Changed the border color to brown and increased the shine.
7. Added some offset text and lightened the transparency.
8. Saved the image.
