I was getting them ready to ship and then thought, oh, take a quick pic.... It's only the second time I have ever made reindeer..... I think that they turned out pretty good......
Our Christmas feast, cooked by Steve and hosted by Dan and Carmen, with Rob and Traci also in attendance. We had prime rib, roast vegetables, roast potatoes, garlic butter roasted mushrooms, fancy mac & cheese, pork & chicken roulade for Rob and Traci, and Indian rice pudding for dessert later. Everything was fabulous.
Merry Christmas everyone!! From Kelly Masako and Acer
I hope an E-Card is ok ;-)
We`ve had quite a year!! In February we up-sticks and flew across the pond, we had a great month travelling NewYork, Arizona, then up to Salt Spring Island BC where we have made a clearing in the woods and half-built a house. Most of 2010 we have lived in a yurt and we`re really looking forward to 2011 in a real house. We`re enjoying our new life here, met new friends, done plenty fishing and mushroom picking lol.
Lots of love from us and looking forward to your news too. Kelly Masako and Acer

Beamish is a world famous open air museum. That tells the story of life in North East England in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian times.
Beamish stands in 300 acres of beautiful County Durham countryside. Within the site you will find Pockerley Old Hall, The Town, Rowley Station, The Fairground, Home Farm and The Pit Village.
This is a chocolate mudcake covered in vanilla buttercream and decorated with green buttercream. This is based on the same idea that I used for my Christmas cupcakes.
It was for a customer who didn't want a traditional fruit cake and as it is buttercream decoration it went in the freezer to come out on Christmas Day.
Christmas dinner at John & Val's (the couple on the left). They roasted the turkey, and I made the veggies and dessert. I am technically in the photo if you look waaaay over on the left side of the mirror.

The Spirit of Christmas
Anon
I have a list of people I know
All written in a book
And every year at Christmastime
I go and take a look
And that is when I realise
That those names are a part
Not of the book they're written in
But of my very heart
For each name stands for someone
Who has crossed my path some time
And in that meeting they've become
A treasured friend of mine
And once you've met some people
The years can not erase
The memory of a pleasant word
Or a friendly face
So when I send a Christmas card
That is addressed to you
It's because you're on that list
Of folk I'm indebted to
And you are one of many folk who
In times past I've met
And happen to be one of those
I don't want to forget
And whether I have known you for
Many years or few
In some way you have a part in
Shaping things I do
This, the spirit of Christmas, that
Forever and ever endures
May it leave it richest blessing
In the hearts of you and yours.
Another photo I thought was lost but found on my son's laptop! I made this cake for a "how-to" article for Mailbox News. A simple 9" round decorated with sugar cookies.
