Finally! Christmas time is here and I get to make cookies! This batch was made for a gift exchange we had our work Chirstmas party. We're playign dirty Santa so lets see how many times these get taken ;)

Three final uploads from our Christmas Day. I gave JJ a couple of games, which we played when Matt and Sophie arrived. This is Hues and Clues (which I won!) - you had to describe a colour without saying it's name and the closest guesses won. The problem is (and the reviews say it), the colours on the card you pull out aren't an exact match on the board! But we still had a laugh.

I like looking at other people's big Christmas trees with over-the-top decorations, but for myself I'd much rather something small and simple.

We made family images after Thanksgiving Dinner. This is the one I will be using for our Christmas card this year. Hubby and I with all four grandchildren, I will be posting several over the next few days. Hope you will enjoy seeing my family.

Sending all of you well wishes on this Saturday. MIL not doing very good again, she is still in the hospital. Tomorrow will be three weeks - I ask you to still pray for her. This years Christmas card for our church. The headline is up for changing, The concept is a retro christmas look to signify looking back to Jesus, or revisiting Jesus again. It's really hard to find pics of Jesus that aren't super cheesy so I wanted to stear clear of that idea and just show a nice Christmasy scene. The silver lines at the bottom will be a shiny spot silver when printed.
Any input or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone had a Merry little christmas, I certanly had!! So I got all of this stuff, plus about 200 bucks :D although I got the SW and Creators set a tiny bit before Christmas. :P I'm very happy with this loot, nearly finished building the police station (takeing me longer than expected) and the Galaxy Squad set is awesome !!!
so hope everyone had an awesome christmas and I'll also be making a christmas build (I'm very nearly finished with it), so it might be up tomorrow.

This is part of an elaborate display from a past Victorian Vine Street Showcase event in Paso Robles. It occurs on a Saturday night before Christmas. Vine Street is closed to vehicles for several blocks. All the houses on those blocks are decorated and lighted.
Snacks and hot beverages are given away at some houses. Some houses have musicians or dancers. Sometimes there is an ice sculptor working. Sometimes there is a snow slide. The two biggest attractions are Scrooge's house and the Grinch's house.
This is a family event. People stroll the street taking in the sights and sounds, stoppng to listen to music or grab coffee or hot cider. Some haul children in wagons. I will be adding new photos from this event in my Christmas album.

Merry Christmas!
A seasonal MOC, made for a contest at Comunidade 0937.
It's a cottage decorated for Christmas. Created using basic bricks and tiles, it's one of my rare buildings.
It was a big effort to create such a thing. My parts collection is oriented to the creation of vehicles, not houses.
Also it doesn't have minifigs, although it is minifig scale. The contest rules would not allow it. Besides, my minifigs are mostly city workers, mechanics and race car drivers.
Inspiration came from many photos and postcards I found on Google.
I wish I could put a V8 and some big tires in there... :D
