Christmas is on the corner, take a few shots about Christmas and send it to all my views,圣誕就快來了,拍幾張圣誕裝飾,感謝大家的支持,節日快樂

I thought I'd do something special with typical Christmas colors and strong color contrasts.

There are still milk stains on my camera and tripod (it was quite a mess in my bathroom) and, yes, it did require 80 takes to get one suitable photo.

christmas greetings to everyone

Have been ill all Christmas so havent been able to get out of the house and use my lovely new presents (Giotto tripod and Lowepro bag), Been going a little stir crazy so set up a shot using a flash in a gift box, lots of gold foil and my eldest son. Bit of extra cheesy glow added in Photoshop, and am about a week late with it but nevermind!

The Ogham alphabet is the earliest known form of writing in Ireland and is seen as the first intellectual creation of Irish-speaking people. While the Ogham alphabet is seldom used today, it remains an enduring part of Irish culture and heritage.

Thank you for yet another year :-)

Merry Christmas one and all, and a happy and healthy New Year! I sincerely hope Christmas 2015 was good to you. Myself and my girls really enjoyed ours.

To everyone who liked and commented on my images in 2015 I would like to say a massive thank you! I only wish I had the time to return the favour to you all. With a baby on the way and a business to run I just don't have as much time for Flickering as I used to. That annoys me as Flickr and photography are very important positives in my life.

That said I'll never leave and have loads of ideas for shots in 2016, hopefully some of them will come to fruition. And hopefully I'll connect with as many of you as possible too.

“Posh, is it Christmas Day tomorrow?” Asked Sky.

“No Sky, you have a few more sleeps before that happens. You also have some present buying to do.”

“You mean one has to give as well as receive presents?”

“Yes Sky, for every present you receive you should also give; plus, you should give presents to all your friends, even if they might forget to buy you a present.”

“Really Posh? That sound so complicated. It doesn’t even make sense and sounds very much like a hooman custom. Why buy someone a present that they probably don’t want and receive one you don’t want, when you could just buy yourself something you do want? Posh, how do I know what to buy them?”

“Well think of who it is for and then decide what you feel they might like to receive. It isn’t that difficult Sky, as Bertie and I do it every year.”

“I buy everyone honey Sky; I find that easiest.” Said Bertie.

“Yes, that sounds like a good idea then if they don’t like it, they can always hand it back and I can have it.” Agreed Sky.

“You could put a little more thought into it both of you. How about getting something different for everyone instead?” Asked Posh.

“There is a lot of them to buy for Posh, it would be difficult and very expensive.” Explained Bertie.

“That is a thought, who is paying for Christmas you two?” Asked Posh.

“What do you mean Posh? I just ask Sky to get when I need and he gets it for me.” Said Bertie looking at Sky.

“So, Sky, how do you get this honey for presents?”

“That is simple Posh, I add it to the man’s shop so it isn’t a problem. Don’t worry though, for I always add a few extra jars of honey on so we can leave him a few as a thank you.”

“No, that isn’t fair Sky; that way you are having the man pay for his own present. We should find another way to organise this present buying.”

“I have an idea Posh. If we ask nicely, perhaps Ellie will take us shopping on the moon and then we can get some marshmallows from the mines, some honeycomb from the caves and also some cheese. Ellie will want some bananas and also a load of chocolate buttons for taking us there but I can order that on the man’s next shopping order.”

“What a great idea Sky, we could then give some of the things away as presents and maybe let the man have some too and that way he wouldn’t be paying for his own present.” Said Bertie excited.

“Yes, and cards Posh, we could exchange the cards we were sent last year so as to cut down on paper waste. I mean, they were jolly fine cards and far too good to throw away.” Added Sky.

“That’s right Sky, and we won’t need to wrap the presents as they are so sticky that it would ruin good wrapping paper. We’ll leave a nice pile of honeycomb and hot marshmallows on the man’s pillow on Christmas eve so he can have a midnight feast before bedtime.” Agreed Bertie.

“We also need to get the tree in and put these decorations on it too, Bertie. So much to do.” Said Sky.

Posh looked at his two friends feeling confused and a little concerned.

“What’s wrong Posh, we’ve sort out Christmas for you?” They asked together.

“I don’t know, I’m sure there is a flaw in there somewhere but I just can’t place my paw on it right now.” Said Posh shaking his head slowly.
