Every year at Christmas time my neighbor puts out decorated bike on his porch. He is an avid cyclist.

Sorry it took me until after x-mas to upload this. I've just been so dreadfully busy, but I hope you can still enjoy them! :)
I’m not sure what inspired me first for this interior. Maybe it was the Hive wooden Christmas trees from Tannenbaum? I’d seen that and wanted to do a simple styled christmas, without the bling gold and silver… reflecting the starkness of winter more. As soon as I came across this build from Scarlet Creative I knew something might work. And here it is. My take on a simplistic Christmas. I feel it’s still a cosy space, despite the height of the ceilings. The stove and all the wood give it warmth; the concrete it’s edginess - and the paper wrapped gifts under the paper tree something of a caring personal quality.
Hope you like it. I enjoyed putting this together as much as my more flamboyant room previously.

Our LEGO Gymnasts, Beth and Rebecca, enjoy a rare treat on Christmas - candy and cookies! They are excited to get a couple days off from training and lots of Christmas presents (leotards, grips etc) :-) Next year will be a very busy year for them because it's an Olympic year. Hopefully I can get some photos of them training :-)

Christmas Lights and sparkly fence. A Montage of 3 photos with intentional blur in one, the Christmas tree in another and a Merry Christmas sign. The display of some of the houses is so OTT! December in Melbourne means visiting the light displays in the city and the suburbs around me. Given it is our summer it means staying up late (as the sun goes down at 9pm )!! HMMM.

I like origami-Santa's a lot and I collect diagrams since years. It started with very simple ones, only suitable for cards and I decide to make ATC-cards*** (Artist Trade Cards) to create my Santa collection, when I had about 50 Santa's.
This is one part, the other part you can see here, because my collection is still growing and growing.
The third photo is a model with 4 variations and when I have an exhibition I place this one in the middle.
All together you see 99 ATC-Santa's models, some with a little variation.
***Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards baseball cards, or 2 1⁄2 by 3 1⁄2 inches (64 mm × 89 mm), small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets.
The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland.
Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or fiber.
The cards are usually traded or exchanged. When sold, they are usually referred to as art card editions and originals (ACEOs).(Wikipedia)
Not sure why but this year I am feeling extra Christmassy. These guys range from 5-7" in height but I may have to make a much bigger one for myself :3
