The Church of the Holy Archangel Michael over the village of Oreanda was built in 2006 at the foot of Mount Ai-Nikola. As archaeological excavations indicate, an ancient Christian monastery used to be located on this site. The temple was built by the famous Yalta architect Vyacheslav Bondarenko and is surrounded by mountains. When broadcasting the singing of the male church choir, voices repeatedly reflected from the rocks create an unusual acoustic effect. Such a monumental sound can only be achieved in special concert halls.
In 1892, on a picturesque climbing cliff - a red rock - at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, the foros church was laid. A church was built on the means of owner of the estate of the form, "Tea King" A.G. Kuznetsov in memory of "wonderful" events on October 17, 1888 at the Kursko-Kharkov Bil Station railwayWhen, during the crash, the royal family remained unharmed.
The place for the construction was chosen the most picturesque: the church was built on the red color of a sheer cliff, ripped away from the main array, surrounded by the greens of the forests. She seems to soar between heaven and earth.
The project developed an architect N.M. Chagin. The church was built in the Byzantine temple style, which is distinguished by a special technique of masonry from wide flat brick-dlinges and using numerous domes by type of Russian wooden temples. With her silhouette church reminds Moscow Churches of the late XVIII century.

Assumption Cathedral is one of the most ancient cathedrals of Yaroslavl; it had been laid down at the beginning of the 13th century at the order of Prince Konstantin. The Assumption Cathedral was more than once destroyed by fire and then rebuilt; in 1937 it had been blown down and a park was laid out on the place. Nowadays on the upper level of the Volga Embankment you can see the restored cathedral, with its white stone walls and golden domes. The interior of the cathedral is carefully recreated.

Lying in an inaccessible gravel pit are three well preserved examples of obsolete technology from the 1920s. They are acoustic mirrors designed to pick up the sound of approaching aircraft before they were visible. They were never taken into use because of the development of radar prior to World War 2. here are the 20 foot and 30 foot sound mirrors.

Ragusa (Italian: [raˈɡuːza] Sicilian: Rausa; Latin: Ragusia) is a city and comune in southern Italy.
In the middle of Lyon, we both waited, the streetcar driver in the streetcar opposite until the time was ready to continue her journey to the next stop. And I waited at "my" stop until a streetcar driver stops his vehicle and takes me to my next stop.
As it looks, we both spent the time with cell phone in hand. What she read I do not know, I took pictures with mine :-)
Thanks for your criticism and as always, favs, likes and comments are gratefully appreciated!

Shah mosque was built during the Safavid Empire, ordered by Abbas I of Persia. It is regarded as one of the masterpieces of Persian architecture in the Islamic era. Its construction began in 1611, and its splendor is mainly due to the beauty of its seven-colour mosaic tiles and calligraphic inscriptions.
The mosque is depicted on the reverse of the Iranian 20,000 rials banknote.
