The new owner of my tote bag doesn't know it, yet. She is one of my former students who is just a peach. I took her address before school let out, and I plan to send it to her. This bag was made with three distinct fabric types: vintage reproduction fabric, Tula Pink's Flutterby line and Urban Couture by Basic Grey. Big thanks to Quiltgrl_2000 for sending me most of this fabric. Interestingly, most of the fabrics I used were more contemporary.

Layout using BasicGrey Lauderdale Collection. Built a collage of the different papers, Made a chevron from one of the papers, added a touch of doodling with a blue pen and used several of the stickers from the collection to add a few embellishments to the layout.

I made this card specifically for the Papercrafts 2012 Gallery Idol Competition. I used a combination of Hampton Art stamps, Basic Grey's "Serendipity Papers," and alphas from Bo Bunny. I die cut the heart from my new fav Sizzix heart die, then coated with Glossy Accents. All the pieces were distressed with Tea Dye Distress ink from Tim Holtz. Yayyyyy I got a submission in before the deadline - wish me luck, folks!!!

This is a BasicGrey page kit from last summer. The title reads: "Grandpa let me read you a Biscuit store," from the little girl who just learned how to read.

Another Gorjuss creation - You've got mail :)

Used the December Studio Calico Kit & the Sunday Sketch from 01/09/2011.

I thought this card could work as a masculine card even though it has a flower on it ;D

The image (B-Line stamps) was stamped in black versafine ink and clear embossed on light beige CS . DI in broken china, peeled paint, Pumice stone on craft sheet were misted then I laid the image in it. After that, I lightly touched mustard seed DI to the panel. Other papers were stamped scraps except for the BG first layer. Crystal Effects glossy on the body of the car for that just waxed look!!

This card is for Color Combo’s Galore #198 (theme Vintage Design). The inspiration photo had both a red car and a vintage sign. I found a picture of a Route 66 sign and used that as a template for the card background. It was embossed with a gear embossing folder. The car was coloured with Distress ink, Perfect Pearls and water. The blue paper was embossed with a bingo embossing folder and sanded to reveal the white core, and the gears were stamped with a happy definition stamp. ‘Grattis’ means ‘congratulations’ in Swedish.

Supplies: Hero Arts stamps: Going (CL478), Happy Definition (CG269); Distress Ink Fired Brick; Perfect Pearls; Tim Holtz Sizzix Bingo embossing folder and gears die; Cuttlebug gears and swiss dots embossing folders; My Favorite Things flat bottom clouds die; twine; BasicGrey patterned paper; mini stapler.

I made this card after I saw Shari's card on Hero Arts Blog last monday! I liked her card so much that I gave t a try myself. Used Aspen Frost paper by Basic Grey, like she did. But an other ornament and an other border punch, because I don't own the ones she used. But I think this worked out good.

Materials & Tools:

* Tilda with Strawberries 963

* Strawberry Ice cream 123

* "Basic Grey" Lily Kate

* "Bazzill" cardstock

* "Faber Castell" - watercolor pencils

* Sewing machine

These were inspired by Kristina Werner. I loved the one she had on her blog. She put transparency in her circle. I decided to forgo the transparency and put a scallop to highlight the flowers inside.

They are for my cousins baby shower. I like to give thank you cards so it's one less thing the mom to be has to worry about.

the flowers inside were stamped with 2 different colors and then I painted them with Shimmerz....if you haven't used this product I urge you to go find some...this stuff rocks! :)

HA stamps setCL184 thoughtful messages was used. Flower stamps are Magenta and all paper is Basic Grey. Love those 6x6 packs.

Here's my card for Card Patterns sketch #150. I used the small rolled roses dies to cut 8 medium sized flowers from pink kraft core and 8 small ones from red craft core. I sanded them lightly, rolled them up and applied some white paint on the edges. Then I placed a little pool of glossy accents in each center and sprinkled with glass glitter. Finally, Rock Candy Stickles was smeared on the flowers. I glued them to a square piece of cardstock. Three patterned papers were used for the background. I really like the biggest one, it looks like old fashioned wallpaper. The scalloped border was cut from a fourth piece of paper. The lace trim was dyed with Victorian Velvet distress ink to match the pink flowers. TFL!
