LOAD23 "Food Trail Game" Pet Scrapbook Layout. Scrapbooking the future - Didn't follow the prompt. I almost did, but that would've been a sad page and I didn't feel like doing that. Created the paint splatters the other day when I painted the brackets on the "Dance" layout. Supplies: cardstock (Wausau, Basic Grey), doilies, stickers (October Afternoon, BasicGrey, Bella Blvd.), acrylic paint.
Card features Lawn Fawn and Basic Grey "Olivia" line. Additional info on my blog:

The April Challenge at a2z is Stenciling. When I play with stencils, it's usually messy, so I make quite a few before I clean up.
This card was made with several of my stencil leftovers using Hero Arts Gold Shimmer Spray & Hero Arts / BasicGrey Two Way Arrows Stencil. I cut one of the stencil designs into 1/2″ strips and wove together a paper mat. I used another leftover to frame the card base (the gold splatters are the overspill on the outside of the stencil).
I added a new wood block stamp With Deepest Sympathy together with some paper flowers. I punched leaves from the new Kelly Purkey Designer papers and used Hero Arts Grass Chalk ink on the edges to cover up the bits of white that show-up when you punch into white-cored paper.
Remember, you can use Coupon Code STEPH15 for 15% off your order of $25.00 or more (before tax and shipping) in the a2z Store ... and the a2z Store has the 2015 Hero Arts release in stock.

Needs another jolly good press and a 'de-threading'. I rather like to keep a pic of the inside of a quilt, hopefully it wont ever be seen again!
The left side of my 2 page spread for a circle journal I've been involved in.
The theme was "favorite books".
Journaling reads:
"I fell in love with reading at a very young age. I became a "series" kid-reading every book by one author. The American Girl books, the Goosebumps books, the Boxcar Children. I loved them all. To this day, this continues. Some of my recent favorites include the "Wicked" books, the "Twilight" series [yes I gave in to the hype and read them.] I got into Harry Potter and still enjoy the poetry of Shel Silverstein.
My most favorite book is "A Million Little Pieces". Luckily, I read this book before all the controversy came out about how the author, James Frey, embellished parts of the story. I read it as it was written and it truly changed my life - and the way I view the world. I can't really explain it, but it's a book I highly recommend.
Art books, magazines and creative idea books are another group of favorites. I have three shelves filled with a variety of colorful books loaded with challenges, ideas, and inspiration. Whenever I get stuck, I turn to these books to get me out of my rut. It works every single time!
While there is no hard cover or spine, I also love to read on the internet. Creative and designer blogs, how-to websites-you name it. There is so much to learn and I love that.
I love to read. Period.

Decotiimin kautta Disneyn pahiksia. Takakansi on vähän etukantta leveämpi, jotta sain siihen tuon tekstin siirtokirjaimilla. Sidonnassa punaista paperinarua, puurenkaita langan varassa ja huovutusvillaa. :D

Disney Villains deco via Decotiimi. Drawing in Indian ink and Copic markers. White paper by BasicGrey, burgundy-coloured velvety paper, a chipboard heart and rub-on letters. I tied the deco with red paper string and added some wooden rings and merino wool.
I made this for the current CASology challenge. Used the SSS set Bring the Sunshine, as well as the matching dies. Patterned paper is from BasicGrey. Thanks for taking a look!

a birthday card made for a friend
l love the paper background which comes from Basic Grey's Plumeria Collection - when the paper is so pretty, one doesn't really have to embellish too much - just added a lovely 'smile' sentiment stamp from Impression Obsession (IO) and girl on bicycle stamp comes from Penny Black's A Little Bird collection - both embossed in white with dabs of Liquid Pearladded to the flowers in her basket and her scarf

I created these for the Holiday Gift Tag Challenge over on the Moxie Fab World blog (www.moxiefabworld.com/2013/08/holiday-cards-more-week-hol...). TFL!

Well, after 2 1/2 years of keeping my embossing folder swatches in a binder, I finally decided it was time for a makeover. And of course, I had to use my Memory Box goodies. My old method may work for some but it was no longer working for me. My new box holds swatches with the folder and manufacturer’s name on each swatch. To see information on my new method and other ideas as well, please see my very detailed post here:

Thanks for looking! Blessings,
I used this sketch:
The page is about one of the "high"lights of our family vacation: indoor skydiving. The Turbulence paper from BG's Wander reminded me of the wind tunnel we were in for the flying exercises. After a couple of tries, we sorta got the hang of it; I even went up about 10-12 feet in the air. SO fun!
The sketch was perfect, because I wanted to fit in a bunch of photos, and most of these were taken from the other side of a glass partition, so the quality wasn't so hot...so I made them smaller (besides which, what an awful glare from my picture of the layout itself - sorry!).
Everything here is BG Wander, and I cut the title letters from my Silhouette.
TFL,
Cynthia
