Finally getting around to completing some layouts. In this one I used some Basic Grey paper (I think it was from their Periphery collection or maybe their Perhaps collection) along with a film strip (which I love) from Creative Imaginations. I actually bought two of these. They're a great way incorporating snapshots of an event that would have otherwise gone unused. And as usual, I've used American Crafts Thickers for the page title :)
I created this layout of my son and new daughter-in-law using Basic Grey's Piccadilly collection. To see all of the details and more pictures, please visit my blog @ truesgiftsfromtheheart.blogspot.com/2011/10/more-new-rele...
Thanks,

Love Card was created using DCWV patterned paper and Basic Grey Chipboard. I added a nice punched border by using my Fiskars punch. Then a few strips of velvet ribbon and Basic Grey buttons.

By Basic Grey for Moda. I saw this last week at Pennington Quilts, and loved it. It's so different from anything I have in my fabric stash. So, naturally, I bought a ton of it, and have a quilt in mind for it. I love the colors and designs in this line!
Another layout inspired by Shimelle's class 'Something from Almost Nothing' - using buttons (obviously!).

A super simple card. Taking a white card base, I used some Blushing Bride (SU) paper to almost cover the entire front. I then added a strip of paper from Basic Grey's Kioshi line. I stamped the sentiment in Dusty Concord Distress Ink, and coloured the images in with Distress markers
