Early doors at Seaham, Durham Coast.
Thanks in advance for any comments or favourites you may wish to make.
you burst through the branches in my dreams,
you shine brighter than any sun.
your arms stretched out,
reaching, no, not reaching,
beckoning, luring me forward.
your smile is my smile

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant. – Robert Louis Stevensen

While walking through the neighborhood, I could have sworn I heard a small voice singing. It led me to a Dogwood tree.
There were pink bracts (modified leaves) surrounding the very tiny flowers in the center of one blossom. I studied them carefully.
There I found the source of the music. It was a lovely surprise! I just had to capture this image of the first, fully opened dainty flower. Near the top of the cluster I discovered what appeared to be a small mouth, ready to sing with great gusto!
Nature is grand!
"Lovely flowers have been known to grow out of trash heaps."

I discovered this treasure lying in a small pile of gardening debris and just knew it deserved a better resting place. After shaking loose a few of those black seeds for Spring planting, it now resides in a lovely ceramic vase.
Light breaking though a buddhist temple in Tengboche. Read more about it at my photoblog www.arrivalsanddepartures.com/
Poppy heads are so full of promise...I love their sculptural form. Using the Helios 44M mounted on Fuji XPro 1.
Another bokeh experiment of a tiny strange plant, that can not be noticed until gone as close as can..
