absolutely delighted to see this Classic big BMW in such great condition, wish all BMW owners looks after their cars like this owner does. Fabric interior (non leather) is in great condition. No good pictures of the front due to it being parked against a wall. The alloy wheels are not great though

A nice find this weekend, a Kodak Brownie Automatic Movie Camera f/2.3. It came with a box, all the paperwork including tag, and its original camera bag. It was made between 1959 and 1962. I actually have 8mm film for it, but it expired in 1965.

This is a Voigtlander Vito automatic, its a really heavy and a bit chunky. I did try putting a film in it, but it felt like it wasn't winding on, i think this turned out to be a super smooth winding mechanism. oh well, i'll give it another go soon.

Signal 176.3 on the approach to Wingello, showing "clear" indication. There are a couple of sidings for track vehicle and emergency use plus an emergency crossover at Wingello. Normally 176.3 operates as a permissive, automatic signal (block signal), but when the electric release is taken at Wingello to unlock points there, 176.3 becomes an absolute home signal. To indicate when it is working as an automatic signal, it displays an "A" light below the main head. When the release at Wingello is taken and it becomes in effect a home signal protecting points, the A light is extinguished. It then cannot be passed at stop without authority.
i spent the day reviewing a presentation, and muttering my part of it whilst sitting on the balcony. it must've looked quite strange, but it sure was helpful to me.
i also tried out the polaroid automatic 230, filled with neat-o b&w polaroid 664 film. i can get used to b&w polaroid. the 230 needs some fixing, but it's just a minor caveat.

The Market Mall in Saskatoon in Saskatoon has had a Gyro Tech door opener installed since 1995 (based on manufacture date). It operates the door to the right in this picture. Why the mall decided to add another "IN" decal to a manual door remains a mystery to me.
