Recently restored the case of this watch and had the movement serviced. Case was beat up to the point that it was practically given to me. She looks gorgeous now.
This camera is great. My latest acquisition is a Polaroid Automatic 100 Land Camera got for £10.

In 2008, a new Shoppers Drug Mart store opened up in Lakewood at Lakewood Common. This was the first store I had seen that used doors from Besam, but it has been the last store that has used them. Since this time, at least two new stores have opened in Saskatoon, but they use doors from Horton Automatics.
Market Mall in Saskatoon used to have two sets of automatic swing doors at its Safeway entrance with both doors opening at the same time as you approached a set. The old sets also had floor mat sensors, which were removed in the late 1990s. Eventually, the opening was reduced to one door per set. The Stanley decals were applied at some point, but decals from Horton Automatics eventually covered up the "OUT" part of the decal. Now, one set has been replaced with a door from Horton Automatics, while the one inside is still from Gyro Tech, which for some reason, no longer works.

This is the only model that combines the lower specified lens and rangefinder with the higher specified 362 shutter (four film speed settings, scene selector) .
The shutter is of the two-blade single guillotine type. The two blades move horizontally in the same direction, each driven by its own spring. The opening blade has a hole to allow the light pass through. The closing blade covers that hole to stop the exposure. A separate cocking action is needed to move the blades into the “ready-to-fire” position and tension the springs.
The exposure is controlled electronically via a timing circuit called “two-transistor trigger”. When the shutter is released, the opening blade moves to the open position while the closing blade is held in place by an electromagnet. At the same time, the timing capacitor is charged through the CdS cell. When the charge reaches a certain point the trigger status is flipped and the current is cut off from the electromagnet. As a result, the closing blade moves under the force of the spring to cover the shutter opening.
The shutter needs battery to work. Without battery, the electromagnet won’t be able to hold the closing blade. Consequently, the opening blade and the closing blade move together. No exposure will be made because the opening is always covered by the closing blade.
The CdS sensor has a fixed-size light collecting window. Different film speeds are accommodated by either different timing capacitors, or different aperture sizes, or both. The 362 shutter is a more advanced model. It has four film speed settings and provides two aperture sizes for each speed to better handle different lighting conditions. Simpler models have only two film speed settings and one aperture size per film speed. There is also a variable resistor for exposure compensation.
This is automatic syringe pistol. Syringe capacity 5 ml of the substance, and the reservoir 25 ml. I did it for my need, but I share with you. I hope you like it.

The Automatic Planet Finder (APF) also know as the Rocky Planet Finder (RPF). This is the latest addition to the collection of instruments on top of Mount Hamilton and was commissioned in 2009.
Earlier this year, the Midtown Plaza was renovated, which included a revamp of the underground parking lot and its entrances. In this case, old NABCO doors were replaced with doors from Stanley Access Technologies. That was disappointing.

In 2012, the Shoppers Drug Mart store at Preston Crossing in Saskatoon unexpectedly closed. Since its closure, it is now being turned into a new Mark's store, or becoming part of an expanded Mark's store. What's going to happen is unclear. However, what will happen is that these doors will likely be removed. The automatic sliding doors inside the store have since been removed.
