This is a Voigtlander Vito automatic, its a really heavy and a bit chunky. I did try putting a film in it, but it felt like it wasn't winding on, i think this turned out to be a super smooth winding mechanism. oh well, i'll give it another go soon.
if anyone has one of these, please let me know what its like.
Signal 176.3 on the approach to Wingello, showing a yellow aspect. It can show steady yellow "caution" indication as well as pulsating yellow "medium" (preliminary caution/warning) indication. There are a couple of sidings for track vehicle and emergency use plus an emergency crossover at Wingello. Normally 176.3 operates as a permissive, automatic signal (block signal), but when the electric release is taken at Wingello to unlock points there, 176.3 becomes an absolute home signal. To indicate when it is working as an automatic signal, it displays an "A" light below the main head. When the release at Wingello is taken and it becomes in effect a home signal protecting points, the A light is extinguished. It then cannot be passed at stop without authority.
Question: is this a Danish thing, or do other people in other countries use these things on their bikes?

I just got another antique Polaroid Land camera! (yeah, right...like I really need any more cameras).
It's a Polaroid Automatic 103. It's very similar to the Automatic 100, except that it's a little bit more "plasticky" and doesn't give you as much control over the exposure. But still, it feels solid and looks like it was well made.
I just got the camera in the mail today. I bought it on eBay for $12! (including shipping!) Everything seems to be in good condition. The bellows look like it's in good shape and I don't see any light leaks. The film compartment looks good and the rollers are clean. The camera uses a 3 volt battery - I rigged up a quick test with AA batteries, and the shutter works.
Now all I need to do is get some instant film! The good news is that my local camera shop has started selling the Fuji FP-100C film.
Frederick Grinnell was born in 1836 at new bedford, massachusetts, usa. in 1855, he graduated from rensselaer polytechnic institute. inventor, engineer, and industrialist, grinnell was the creator of the first practical automatic fire sprinkler, which made an enormous contribution to fire safety. earlier in his career, he was draftsman, construction engineer, and manager for various railroad manufacturers. he designed and oversaw construction of more than 100 locomotives. in 1869 he purchased a controlling interest in a company that manufactured fire-extinguishing apparatus. grinnell licensed a sprinkler device patented by henry s. parmalee, then worked to improve the invention, and in 1881 patented the automatic sprinkler that bears his name. he continued to improve the device and in 1890 invented the glass disc sprinkler, essentially the same as that in use today. such sprinklers are called le grinnells in france. he secured some 40 distinct patents for improvements on his sprinklers and invented a dry pipe valve and automatic fire-alarm system as well. in 1892, grinnell organized the general fire extinguisher co., an amalgamation of several smaller companies, which became the foremost organization in its field of manufacture. grinnell died in 1905 in his home town of new bedford
This is a SEIKO AUTOMATIC 7002-7009 WATER 150m RESIST Diver's watch. Date window is at the 3O'Clock position. Black color dial. Luminous hands. Rectangular shape hour markers. Bi-Directional rotatable bezel. Screw down crown and case back.
Dial & hands were made in Japan. Case, Hardlex Mineral Crystal Glass, Stainless Steel bezel, screw down crown and back cover were made in HONG KONG. Movement is Made in Singapore SEIKO 7002 Automatic winding movement. Band is 100% Made in Japan SEIKO Z-22 rubber band with retangular shape stainless steel buckle.

seiko skx007k automatic diver on a gray maratac strap. the watch looks it's ready for serious business on this strap. like i should go find a central american dictatorship to overthrow. or an alligator to wrestle, at a minimum.
