Nearing Butlers Lane station, 323207 and 323203 work 2P30 Redditch to Lichfield Trent Valley High Level.
A new greateranglia stadler bi-mode train from Norwich heads into Sheringham station, as that train rolled in a steam train from the NNR approached the hertitage station and my photo buddy Ciro decided he was going to take a few shots of that resulting in us missing the 15.43 departure from Sheringham.

Bringing a pair of covered hoppers back to the yards in Arcade, NY, the Arcade & Attica's 1920 Alco #18 approaches the steel trestle spanning the Cattaragus Creek at the north end of the village.
Although well-known for their steam tourist excursions, New York's Arcade & Attica Railroad is primarily a local freight carrier, operating between its connection to the outside world on the Buffalo & Pittsburgh (NS & CSX) at Arcade and the northern terminus of the line at North Java. The tracks used to go all the way to Attica, but were removed in the late 1950s, after washouts rendered that portion of the railroad unusable. The line hauls primarily agricultural products and while the vast majority of the trains are powered by diesel-electric locomotives, it's not unheard of for them to move a few loads if the steam locomotive happens to be hot.
This image was captured during a May 2025 photo shoot on the Arcade & Attica Railroad, which featured Consolidation #18 on both freight and passenger consists.
This is one of a sequence of shots of an approaching tram coming along Leidsestraat to Leidseplein, Amsterdam.

The Hawaiian 717 was on approach to runway 04R when the Robinson R44 came from the east to land at the General Aviation area. Nice sight....

BR AM2 EMU 308 approaching Hackney Downs station with a service from Chingford, on a sunny day in 1962.
These had first entered service in 1959 on the pioneering Colchester – Clacton 25kV line, and later most moved to the ex-LT&S lines out of Fenchurch Street..
They later became BR Class 302, and were refurbished in the 1980s, and the last unit was withdrawn from passenger service in 1998, and two driving trailer cars have been preserved..
Today (2025) the then-new signal box on the left is still in place, but disused, and passenger services are operated by London Overground..

48101, 48215, 48211 and 48217 approach Stockinbingal AWB siding with a loaded grain train from Goolgowi, bound for Cootamundra. When they arrive at Stockinbingal, the train will wait on the branch line for a pair of NR Class to pass with an empty steel train from Newcastle, before continuing on to Cootamundra. At Cootamundra, the elderly 48 class will detach, fuel and stable, whilst a pair of 81 Class locomotives will take their train to Port Kembla for export.
All photos in this album were taken during a sailing passage from Iceland to Scotland via the Faroe Islands arranged by Rubicon 3. Sailing took place on Bluejay a Clipper 60 race boat. The Captain was Patrick Van der Zijden and the First Mate was Alex Booth. Including myself there were eight crew members. RJ Corman's classic F-units head the "Old Kentucky Dinner Train" as she approaches the Salt River just outside downtown Shepherdsville, KY on the old L&N Main Line.
Class 47 47441 was a loco I photographed many times here it is just outside Chester with the 13:10 Crewe to Holyhead service. 05/06/1982.

Approaching at 04:00 am with pilot house mounted spotlights lit and aided by a full moon the Laker Algoway with a load of road salt from Goderich, Ontario approaches the lighthouse at Manistee, Michigan on August 8, 2017. It was a real treat to try to catch both pier lights flashing at the same time, also the steamer Cason J. Calloway heads upbound on Lake Michigan some 9 miles distant. This most likely the Algoways last visit with a cargo to Manistee as she is slated for replacement this fall with a new vessel and she will likely be scrapped.
Black 5's, No. and 45407 and 44871, former LMS locomotives, working the 1Z92 Bristol Temple Meads to Chester via Crewe, are seen approaching Abergavenny station on the Marches line.
The 13:17 Manchester Piccadilly to Huddersfield approaches Mossley from the west on September the 18th 2019.
A59r approaches Lisburn with what is probably the 14.30 Dublin Connolly - Great Victoria Street. The lack of MkII stock and the angle of the sun, suggests either late 1972 or early 1973.
A59r/059 was scrapped in August 1992.

Einige Stunden zuvor hatte ich mir beim Fotofestival Horizonte Zingst das Olympus-Objektiv 300mm f4 für kurze Zeit zum Testen ausgeliehen und zu meinem Ärger zeigte sich in dieser Zeit keine einzige Möwe.
Als ich später mit meinem "bescheidenen" Olympus-Objektiv 14-150mm auftauchte, flog diese Möwe zwei große Extra-Runden und ich konnte Erfahrungen mit BIF sammeln, was eigentlich nicht meine Motivwelt ist.

A few hours earlier I had borrowed the Olympus lens 300mm f4 for a short time for testing at the photo festival Horizonte Zingst and to my annoyance not a single seagull showed up during this time.
When I showed up later with my "modest" Olympus lens 14-150mm, this seagull flew two big extra rounds and I was able to gain experience with BIF, which is not really my motif world.

We try to do the nice thing and post reminders on MOC's that we think are for the contest, but we certainly can't go through every build that has been posted over the last 2 months. Please be sure to double-check your entries while you still have time.
