A common route for students to reach bus station. I don't know how many of Curtin students have noticed the frame here. It amuses me very much every time I pass through it.
Churchward G.W.R. 28XX class 2807 approaching Hailes, Gloucester ans Warwickshire railway. 14.5.16. Mamiya 645 70mm lens velvia 50. Built in 1905 this loco has the distinction of being the oldest loco rescued from Barry scrapyard and the oldest survivor of Churchwards standard locos.
March started with several plus degrees day temperatures, which means snow has started to melt quickly. There are already snowless parches here and there. The boat still needs to wait quite long to get into water because Espoo Bay still has thick ice cover.

A westbound CP auto train crosses the Mississippi River on the approach to their Humboldt Yard with the Minneapolis skyline in the distance.
This is a train approaching Queensboro Plaza elevated subway station. Elevated tracks and stations are typical of the Flushing Line rapid transit route, which operates between Manhattan and Queeens. This route is used mostly by working class people, thousands of immigrants from Latin America and Asia who in the morning commute to the heart of America to help keep it beating by cooking, cleaning, selling, etc and at night go back to their neighbourhoods, miles away from the glamour of Fifth Avenue and Times Square.

On the short run to Three Forks the local approaches the Madison River Bridge. The 5th Sub then ducks under I-90 and heads west. The Madison heads south eventually reaching Wyoming and its headwaters in Yellowstone National Park. September 6, 2023.

"Masked" Hop streetcar 01 turns the corner from northbound Milwaukee St to eastbound Kilbourn Ave, approaching the Cathedral Square stop. In the background from left to right are parts of Old St Mary's Church and the City Hall building, and in the distance, the Milwaukee County Courthouse complex.
The Hop operates this section of route off-wire; power is derived from onboard batteries.

Elowah is a beautiful waterfall. The long stream of water drops over a cliff covered with brightly color lichens. The trail passes over a wooden bridge just a few dozen meters from the bottom of the waterfall. There are all sorts of possible compositions involving the waterfall, the bridge, and the stream, many which I've seen before and many of which I made this time as well. But as I was leaving, I looked back and saw this view, the view of a person approaching Elowah.
