Kieran had come across a couple of small orchards he had permission to harvest and that still had apples and so it seemed sufficient to bring out the equipment again and get pressing.

Good fun, very efficient with our scratter-pulper and hydropress. 3 adults and one child working in an organised way.

Lovely flavour - a mix of about 7 varieties of apples. Sweeter than any of the juice earlier in October.

Some for cider, some for freezing.

I dont have much freezer space left at right now, So I only brought back 7 litres for freezing in 500ml bottles

and 5 litres for fresh use over the weekend in glass bottles.

I like the lightning, composition, and just apple and cinnamon as a pair! This is the food assignment (You NEVER would've guessed, huh?).

Probably one of the most unusual Apple Stores I have ever seen.

Here's a sneak peek at my parcel - the green apple is a foam stamp. I was all set with just red and green when my daughter said "but there's yellow apples too" so she helped me pick out a few little yellow items to add. I love how they turned out!! I hope the recipients love them too:)
