When the rain stopped the sun came out and so did this slug. Making the most of the apple feast.

1. "Property of Bart Simpson" from The Simpsons episode "Radio Bart". This one is a genuine Dymo embossed label.
2. "Stonecutters" from another great episode, "Homer the Great". Apparently this one stops paramedics from stealing my wallet.
3. Still an Apple - left over sticker from when I bought my iPod nano.

This is a picture of the apple tree outside my house. I took this shot almost a year ago, and just recently found it cleaning up some old files. I converted it to HDR, and here it is. Tell me what you think.

This got sent round at work. It's almost certainly not a new joke, but it made me smile nonetheless. I particularly liked the image caption ;o)
Apple uses a slightly altered version of Adobe's Myriad family for printed matter and Lucida Grande as the primary operating system font. Here, the PowerBook logo is printed in Apple Myriad Semibold.

I have returned to my county of origin with my cooking adventures and have made a Dorset apple cake.
Elaborado con frescas y jugosas manzanas, servido calientito y cubierto con una deliciosa capa de mantequilla, azúcar y nuez que le dan un sabor inigualable acompañado de helado de vainilla.
This Apple was created using nothing but text characters I typed out from my keyboard. If you look closely, you can see which keyboard characters I used.
The only things I changed were the size of the characters, the type of font used, and the angle of rotation. Everything was made using black and white text only.
This Apple may look somewhat easier than my other Text Art pieces, but seriously, it was not. Putting the shape together wasn't too difficult, but making sure that the letters and fonts used were aesthetically pleasing and that they aligned at the right angles to give the same simple feeling as the original logo took a lot of work.
Hope you enjoy this Apple and share it with your friends...
Cheers,
Dear Daniel
