An apple fritter. It's a type of donut like thing. It's got the apple mixed in with the dough, not a filling.

I think we're going to get a lot (of small) apples this year, judging by the amount of blossom on the trees in the garden!!

This shot was taken in evening, hence the great light and shadows. I haven't played with this shot either, the sky was that colour!!

A little taverna was selling apples on the side of the road.

Apple is taking a different path with the launch of the Apple Watch, with online sales and try-on appointments beginning more than two weeks before availability. As a result, Apple Stores did not see the usual long launch lines this morning. I made a Try-On Appointment at the Ala Moana Center store.

The old adage "Apple a day keeps the doctor away" - so not true for Lolly. I have eaten about 8 apples in the last 24 hours since getting 2 bushels yesterday... and then I got an ear infection... and had to go to the doctor today.

The adage did not work on me.

But the apples were good.

(Also, working on the second sleeve of my sister's cardigan. I am hoping to have this done before I go to CA next weekend to see her + Baby V)

Apple Picking at Parlee Farms

Each October, we go to the same orchard in Walpole, NH to pick apples. Some of us are quietly pleased by this.

Others are more exuberant.

These granny smith apples were soaked in a bath of water and lemon juice. Secondarily, they were grilled before being rubbed down with sugar and cinnamon. I had a hard time convincing my two year old that this was dessert.
