A queer little apple, the Devonshire quarrenden. Nobody knows quite where it came from — perhaps England, perhaps France — and that mystery is made greater by it being quite old, that is, known for a long time.
It ripens second only after my white transparents. Like that apple it is a dessert apple and not good at all for keeping. The tree is very, very vigourous even on the M26 dwarfing rootstock on which this one is grafted. It'll get two prunings a year, one after fruiting and another in winter to tidy it up and still eat and grow like a teenager. I thinned its fruit this year in what I thought was heavy-handed way, zealous even, and still it carried so much fruit that most remained quite small. Some were a decent size, others like big walnut-sized. I've never seen it before but this year it got a bit of apple scab; something to which it is supposedly prone.
I did say it was queer! Ripening in January-February it's early. This is a nice stop gap between the white transparent and the Cox's orange and its parent ribston pippin that arrive in February-March as does the mystery apple supposedly a court pendu plat, but so mysterious that even the nurseryman who sold it to me as a CPP cannot give it a name. The fruit is blocky, almost pentagonal in section, a symmetry common in apples that even turns up in their names like five crown. Once it ripens, it must come off the tree as it spoils in an instant. There's a moment, probably at 3:17am, when at just that one point in ripeness it takes on a strawberry-like flavour.
Because it is prolific, tiny and a bit scabby, handling that amount of fruit and getting it off before the forecast rough weather will be a challenge. I think I'll manage.

I spent the last week as chef for the Northern California FC Camp in Felton, California. The camp is sponsored by Florida College, a private Christian college in Temple Terrace, Florida. Tuesday night was barbecue chicken night. I baked an apple crisp in three (14-inch) Dutch ovens outside the kitchen. The meal, with Dutch oven scalloped potatoes, grilled chicken and corn-on-the-cob, is one of the most popular meals of the week.
Apple's pretty and I photographed her. I envy her name's ability to be represented as an emoji. There's some bird emoji, which is kind of like "Crain", but Allan is nothing at all emojiable.
This was my very very first apple in my life which I bought for myself.
I could not eat any fruit before but now I do just a bit. I'm trying :-)
For this apple, I tried but only could finish 3/5 of this.
People say - Never eat fruit then you've already lost the half of your life. Now I try to bring it back, not full that half but at least a quarter....anyway :)) :D :)) kekekekeke. Actually, I am a meat lover (sound likes a style of Pizza Hut, isn't it?)

Apple wearing the cutest little outfit! Pandas with strawberries! And check out the little socks that came with them. The pompoms are so adorable, it should be a crime to be this cute.
Apple is an Ange Ai Uri from Customhouse.
This is a Montage i created for a college brief.
This montage is to go with 'Kiwi through Glass' and 'Skittles in a Basket'.
I know that I'm not the only one with this problem. Except for the fact that mine is not eligible for an exchange anymore.
True it has saved my macbook a couple of times, yet that section of wire right next to the magnet always gets melted or broken.
This is broken, because it's a hazard, many people have had this issue, and I don't believe that there is any resolution. (other than buying a new adapter if the apple store won't exchange it)
Well today was the first time i went out photographing with 2 dslr's, my old eos 400d and my new eos 50d, different lenses on each. My eos 400 felt quite basic along side the 50d, the 50d is nicer to use but when it comes to the photos themselfs they were both equally as good or bad as each other, the more important factor was the lens attached to each body, i was mainly shooting close ups so my canon 55mm-250mm which was attached to the 400d was by far the more useful lens, resulting in photos which i was personally more pleased with.
