Apple season is on!

it is a small apple that tastes plain but fine. The apples look great - very decorative in August. Best straight from the tree, it doesnt store at all, even after a week after picking and storing, the texture is not great. I will eat 5 or so of these each day for next 3 weeks straight from the tree as i walk past it!

...and we may do an early juicing session in August with this

Mousse (pronounced /ˈmuːs/) is derived from the French word mousse which means "lather" or "foam". A mousse is a stable prepared food that incorporates air bubbles to give it a light and airy texture. Depending on how it is prepared, it can range from light and fluffy to creamy and thick.

Another Apple desktop that I made in Photoshop. This one is 2560x1600 formatted for 16:10 displays optimized for up to 30" displays! Will work great for smaller widescreen displays too.

I attended a memorial service this week for a friend who died early, at age 52. The family asked me to take a few photos of the flowers and other remembrance items placed at the front of the church.

As Russ was a diabetic, he couldn't have cake for celebrations. One of the folk who gave a tribute spoke of bringing him an apple with a sparkler. As part of her tribute, she brought an apple and sparkler to light.

Apple mystery what happened

Apple Picking Dress size 6 made from shirting flannel I bought at Jo-Ann's. I made this last year after Thanksgiving- sort of a holiday look. She is wearing the dress today with red saltwater sandals and capri leggings. It has rained here for 3 days. It has been so dark in the mornings before school.

An unusual combination of shredded apples, cooked millet and brown rice is bound with egg whites and the merest touch of brown rice flour for these dense but decadent squares. A handful of rum-soaked raisins add holiday decadence!

This is one of the rare iPads to have been prototyped with portrait and landscape docking ports. Though Apple patented this design, they decided to remove the landscape port for the final production model.

The logic board, which is a different color than the production version, is date-stamped ©2009, which is the year prior to the release of the first iPad.

A sticker on the backside of the screen indicates that this is a PVT (Production Validation Test).

The battery also indicates the prototype status with two blank boxes that would normally contain compliance logos such as "CE."
