The tall shelf on the left stores all of my manipulatives in clear, labeled bins. The long, white shelf on the carpet holds the students' book boxes as well as other classroom materials. Our classroom meeting area is on the world map carpet. Part of our classroom library (the fiction section) is on the white shelf under the bulletin board.

The Honda Civic Type R is the high performance version of the Civic developed and produced by Honda since September 1997. The first Civic Type R was the third model to receive Honda's Type R badge (after the NSX and Integra). Type R versions of the Civic typically feature a lightened and stiffened body, specially tuned engine, and upgraded brakes and chassis, and are offered only in five- or six-speed manual transmission. Like every other Type R models, red is used in the Honda badge background to give it a special sporting distinction and to separate it from other models.

The third generation Honda Civic Type R is based on the eighth series Honda Civic and was offered on two different chassis FD2 for the Japanese market and FN2 as the European version, with differing styling. The Japanese FD2 selling in Japan as a four door Saloon, rather than the three door FN2 sold in the UK and other export markets. The FD2 Type R was bigger, wider and heavier than the EP3 Type R. The wheelbase grew 101.2 ins during high speed cornering. The Japanese model's engine power output is also higher than the European versions with 222hp. Exterior wise, the front bumper is wider and different from the standard Civic designed aerodynamically. The rear bumper features a diffuser built into the bumper and a large rear wing completes the aero package. Inside, the trademark black and red bucket seats are no longer made by Recaro as with previous versions but designed in-house by Honda.

The European and Internation type R (FN2) comes only as a three door hatchback, and uses a different chassis and internal layout (notably tank placement below the driver's seat), and internal layout (notably tank placement below the driver's seat), Powered by a 198hp 1998cc VTEC engine which will was retired in October 2010 due to failing to meet the forthcoming Euro V emission regulations. It is estimated that a total of over 12,000 Civic Type R's will have been sold by the end of production. These measure will also cause the demise of the Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2 V6, the Ford Focus ST, Mazda RX 8, and the VW 5.0ltr. V10 turbo Diesel.

Seems like Gretas parka wearing, tree hugging acolytes found out we were having fun

The Type R GT trim includes dual-zone climate control (Left:right independent), rain-sensing windscreen wipers, refrigerated glove box, automatic headlights with dusk sensor, front fog lights, power-folding wing mirrors, cruise control, front and rear curtain airbags. It is finished in the same four colours as the standard FN2, and a new colour called Deep Sapphire Blue Pearl added to the colours offered.

3rd Fridays Middle School Dance - November 16, 2012

I nearly uploaded this picture upside down, but on reflection (!) thought it looked best the right way up, lol!

It's been a rather "challenging" day today - spent ages trying to accomodate a client (through an agency - so poor rates of pay), and after 3 hours of back and forth and sacrificing any chance of lunch on Thursday it was all sorted.

An hour later she cancelled.

I was so close to bouncing the job in the first place but felt that I should show some kind of willing that it has left me rather irate. Just had another agent asking if I can "squeeze in" her job before it is scheduled a week today... given it's a 4 hour round trip... nope, not a chance! This is adding to the overall feeling that I should probably let the FA work go at some point. I am giving it a year and will then see how things are looking I think.

Anyway - here are the Falls of Divach this afternoon as I reflect on life through nature!

Three (3) pics of the various BMW's I've owned over the years (first two in Japan; latest in the USA).

Angelina's 3rd birthday party today. She is much happier with me and we had a great time at the party!

not just any picture, a picture I'm proud of...

I made myself a neck-warmer. I like it a lot.

Sunny days are becoming more frequent. I can't tell you how big this makes my heart feel.

I need to take less selfs.

Beautiful winter skies this morning.

Large dark-backed gull. Few similar species in much of its range. Usually coastal. Adults have black backs and wings with very little white in the flight feathers. The bill is very strong and robust and the legs are greenish-yellow. Juveniles have a dark brown back mottled with white, a black bill, and a dark band on the tail.

This bird is a 3rd winter bird - see the remnants of the black tail band. Behind it is a Belcher's Gull.

Weybourne Signal Box on the North Norfolk Railway, 3rd August 2016. The box was built by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway in 1913 and was previously located at the original Holt station. It was moved to Weybourne in 1967 and is fitted with a 30 lever mechanical frame, manufactured by Saxby and Farmer Limited in 1882 hence was secondhand when fitted to the box in 1913.

This is about as close to a Minnesota sunset as you'll get in February.

I also sold my old boom arm and replaced it with a nice Avenger boom, and it works wonders.

Tried a new raw processing program on the milky way shot so here goes.

It is a lot better with processing colors, luminance and noise so I might go with it in the future.

Sorry for posting this so often, but might give you a good idea what different results you can get with starry shots depending on the processing.

Huge congrats to HIFK defenceman Miro Heiskanen for being selected 3rd overall by the Dallas Stars in this years NHL Draft! It's been a joy to get to photograph Miro and see him develop these last few years, first in the juniors and last year in the Liiga.

Grandstand seats on the third-base side of Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox were playing the visiting Chicago White Sox ("CHI" on the scoreboard). Lots of seats left because attendance was only 11,617, even though it was a Sunday afternoon game. Boston lost, 5-0.

Happy Wednesday to you all.

No glitzy invites please. I would rather have comments left from my friends.
