She was so tired she didn’t make it to her hammock. Cute as that may be, I was on seizure alert as “odd” behaviour usually is a precursor to a seizure. She ended up having 4 grand mals and a petit mal. My predictions sadly came true 😿

This was shot for Macro Monday’s theme “How does it work?”.
This is 3rd gear along with it’s synchromesh ring out of my B18C1 (94-01 Acura Integra GS-R) powered 1995 Honda Civic EX-A (she was stolen ‘bout 3 years ago – I miss her!)
The transmission got to a point where I was afraid to use 3rd gear cuz it kept popping out.. took it to Sticks Only in Sun Valley and they made it like new. Now I have this extremely expensive paper weight!

yep. still using up yarn on random projects. and using up cardboard. and rocks and tons of other odds and ends.
BN GP30M 2801 and train continue east across the bridge and fill above West 3rd Avenue near the intersection with Adams street. Sharp-eyed viewers will note the grade crossing in the foreground below the train. These two spurs were once on the "city lead" and served a steel yard and scrap yard. Oh how I wish I would have waited two more seconds to frame the engine better. But something is better than nothing now. This portion of the line is intact and used by the Union Pacific as a car storage lead.
This is one of a series of images documenting the Bushland branch of the Burlington Northern west of Amarillo, BN's Fort Worth & Denver inherited a chunk of the Rock Island's Choctaw Route after the demise of the Rock in 1980. The line ran from downtown Amarillo west along I-40 to a Southwest Portland Cement plant just west of Bushland, Texas. These are a selection of photos from the last few years of operation in the late 1980's and early 1990's. They've held up pretty good considering they were shot on C-41 print film, probably at around 400 ISO, so please forgive the finer points of composition and grain.
Angelina's 3rd birthday party today. She is much happier with me and we had a great time at the party!

Choosing a third favourite was difficult, because I only had two 'stand out' shots. The rest, I like all of them but they are very similar, which is another reason for limiting how many I post, because posting almost the same image repeatedly would soon get boring. Perhaps for some people, this set will be boring? Don't worry, this is almost certainly a one off!
