seen last year at the beach after rising early for an appointment at the hospital. On the way home I asked if we could swing by the beach and was rewarded with this sight of Miss Baker looking ethereal in blue.

Am in a state of *doing* instead of *stillness* . . .
but it's a very *happy* place to be today,
because I'm sewing for a dear friend!
This small vessel washed up on my local beach after a storm and sat there for about a year. I thought it would make an ideal subject for some long exposure work but, due to its size, it bobbed around too much, so I had to wait until I got some real calm conditions that didn't rock the boat so much.
The bluebells at Bubbenhall woods were a few weeks late developing this year largely down to the cold temperature and also lack of rain.
