Over Yakima it was clear as a bell, over white pass it was snowing like...well.... we knew somewhere in-between would be a decent chance for a nice morning.

By the time we got up the ridge the sun was coming up and we were scrambling for a composition. Seeing this rock from below I figured it was my best chance at something interesting....I think it worked out OK.

First roll of film through my "new" Yashica 635 twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera. I bought the camera at an estate sale for a slightly high price, but it was in pristine condition and came with its leather case (spotless), the 35mm adapter kit(!), and beautiful, spotless lens.

TD: Kodak Tri-X at ISO 400. Yashikor 80mm f/3.5 @ f/11. Developed in Ilford Ilfosol 3 (1:9) at 7 minutes. Scanned with a Canon EOS R and Sigma 105mm macro lens.

Another truck from the same era. The F16 was the most powerful model in the range. This is late model.
