Autumn is just around the corner
Foggy mornings ,colour and mood
I am back for a month and then I head off for two weeks late April
I have yet to work out my itinerary as I only got back yesterday
I would like to return to Ebor Falls one morning but I don`t know if I can squeeze it all in
This is the upper section of Ebor Falls
So finally the elusively promised snow arrived on a morning where as I was rudely awakened yet again, by my neighbour who seemingly cannot hold civil conversations without shouting it all over everyone else, but, when I opened the curtains and saw the picture of Winter before me, despite my level of fatigue, I grabbed everything and headed on out into the Storkow countryside.
I happened upon these tracks in what was a completely still and silent environment, wanting to add something more to the chill factor, I breathed onto the lens glass, awaited for the mist to slightly subside and snapped off this shot. I think it worked to create a more Wintry suggestion of cold.

The house to the house is a water castle coming from the 13-th century in the Angerbach in Ratingen.
The water castle was established around 1276 as a family seat of the nobility gender „vom Haus“ and was a part of a row of defensive arrangements along the Anger, the so-called "Angerlinie".

Die Planer wollten ein Bild der Kirche entwerfen, wie es für die Zukunft von Bedeutung sein könnte: Im mystischen Sinn befinden sich die Gläubigen auf einer Fahrt vom Diesseits ins Jenseits. In der heutigen säkular-materiellen Welt könnte dies ermuntern, die andere Welt anzusteuern. Wer den riesigen Schiffsbauch betritt, wer nach oben schaut und das weit ausladende Gebälk betrachtet, erinnert sich, dass wir letztlich alle „in einem Boot“ sitzen.

Roughly translated as "waterfall of the gods", Goðafoss is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. The water of the river Skjálfandafljót falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters. Truly remarkable!
Northern Red-billed Hornbill (Tockus erythrorhynchus). Hornbills are noisy, conspicuous birds easily distinguished by their bold black and white feather patterns, accented by long, colorful bills and patches of bare skin around the eyes or throat. So while I was cleaning up after our Easter ham dinner I dumped the leftover juice out by our rock wall. It seemed we forgot to invite our new neighborhood fox to dinner who couldn't resist the heavenly ham aroma and came by to investigate. I got my camera and when we piled out the front door she moved away but the smell was overwhelming and she came back for a few shots. She licked the rock a bit and then off she went, checking out the neighbors chicken coop as she headed to the woods. This is why it's best to stay in the coop area and not venture out into the unprotected yard if you happen to be a chicken. Still on the lookout for the kits.
Neuschwanstein Castle (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein, English: "New Swanstone Castle") is a nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival palace on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner.
Das Schloss Neuschwanstein steht oberhalb von Hohenschwangau bei Füssen im südlichen Bayern. Der Bau wurde ab 1869 für den bayerischen König Ludwig II. als idealisierte Vorstellung einer Ritterburg aus der Zeit des Mittelalters errichtet. Der König lebte nur wenige Monate im Schloss, er starb noch vor der Fertigstellung der Anlage.
Unfortunately the Marienbrücke (Bridge over the Pöllat Gorge) – one of the best viewpoints was closed because of construction work – so I had to climb up an ice hill left to the Marienbrücke – which had an even more beautiful view – quite a good reward for a quite dangerous climb…
Leider war die Marienbrücke wg. Bauarbeiten gesperrt und so musste ich einen ziemlich vereisten Hügel links neben der Brücke hochklettern – und wurde dann mit einer noch schöneren Aussicht für die nicht ganz ungefährliche Kletterpartie belohnt…

Construido en la época helenística y reconstruido casi en su totalidad durante la dominación romana. En esa época se utilizó para la práctica de la lucha de gladiadores. Originalmente tenía una capacidad para unos 5000 espectadores.
Su construcción, con el graderío (cavea) excavado en la roca, está en perfecta armonía con el entorno y su situación en lo alto de una colina ofrece miradores con vistas al mar Mediterráneo (la bahía de Naxos), el Etna y Taormina al sur y la costa de Calabria con el Estrecho de Messina al norte.
En este teatro se celebra el Festival de Cine de Taormina además de actuaciones artísticas y musicales.

- C'est bien ainsi. De la sorte, tu peux imaginer cette ligne, la dessiner comme tu veux, où tu veux......ou ne pas en mettre du tout, penser qu'elle n'existe pas et que la finitude n'est qu'une construction de l'esprit humain, un cadre dont il entoure sa vie pour palier l'angoisse du vide.
