Ross Park Carousel is a historic carousel located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. The carousel is housed in a wooden, one story, 16-sided, pavilion topped by an eight sided cupola. The carousel has 60 horses standing four abreast, each of which is a "jumper," and two chariots. It was constructed by the Allan Herschell Company and contains its original Wurlitzer Military Band Organ. The carousel was purchased about 1920 and is one of six carousels donated to the citizens of Broome County by George F. Johnson (1857–1948), president of Endicott Johnson Corporation.

The Bank of America Tower soars into the sky, a prominent feature of Downtown Fort Worth's skyline in Texas.

I used to think of her as 'my tree'

but she's world famous in New Zealand ;-)

Still.. I can't resist spending time with her...

so I'm adding to a small series of images

I've made of her over the years.

More to follow ;-)

Really she's a superstar... for a glimpse of some of the many images of her around: www.google.co.nz/search?q=Lone+Tree+of+Wanaka&client=... :-)

In the distance, the Strasbourg Cathedral or the Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg (French: Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg, or Cathédrale de Strasbourg, German: Liebfrauenmünster zu Straßburg or Straßburger Münster), also known as Strasbourg Minster, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Strasbourg, Alsace, France. Although considerable parts of it are still in Romanesque architecture, it is widely considered to be among the finest examples of high, or late, Gothic architecture.

This lovely design is from Miyuki Kawamura. When you turn them, you will have a different view.

The name origami "Dualo" came from the polyhedron of the center of the model. Here you can see two modules.

You can make several variations with this nice module:

-The little ones are made from 6 modules each.

-The middle ones made from 12 modules each and you can choose for a 3 or 4 unit of modules, which gives different results.

-For the bigger ones you need 30 modules each and also here the choice is 3 or 5 unit.

I used these 60 modules also for an other pattern.

Each module is folded from 7,5x7,5 cm, duo-colered paper.

Two of three female African lions (Pantera leo) that have been hunting together. After their meal, they went to the watering hole for a drink, then spent time relaxing and grooming nearby. The traces of blood on their coat are from their most recent hunt.

Taughannock Falls Creek. The limestone surface is full of solution pits that were formed from rain over a very long time. I never saw this before so I had to enquire about it and look it up. Nature is amazing!

Korestia is a historic region of Western Macedonia in Greece. It’s a cluster of mountain villages (Ano and Kato Kranionas, Halara, Ano and Kato Melas, Makrochori, Mavrokampos, Agios Antonios, Gavros) exhibiting strong architectural and cultural interest. The traditional architecture of the villages is great for the region of Western Macedonia. Old houses are constructed with handmade bricks with red clay and straw, giving a reddish color to the landscape. The construction of the houses was maintained until the mid-20th century and then abandoned.

HMBT!

In 2006, I had two times the opportunity to migrate into the valley of the Havasupai Indians and see this magnificent waterfall and take pictures of course . Unfortunately, destroyed a flood in 2008 a part of the beautiful lime sinter terraces .

This picture was taken around noon at clouds and strong winds . The first hint of autumn lay over the valley . I waited a long time at the only place where you had this view of the waterfall with the terraces in the foreground because of the shrubs and trees .

While Olga and Fynn are already cooling off in the water, Charlotte is sitting next to Charly in the sun. Charly still hopes that he will be as brown as his Charlotte. 😄
