Traditional house in Reine. Reine is a fishing village and the administrative centre of the municipality of Moskenes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago, above the Arctic Circle, about 300 kilometres southwest of the town of Tromsø.

I hadn't been to Strasbourg before, but I must go back. Today I had a quick 30 minutes run around between trains. Too hot really, but I wanted to see it.
This photo must have got deleted from Flickr somehow. It was on months ago, and has made a reappearance this morning (16 Dec 2015)

Sunset panorama in the forelands of the river IJssel near Olst.
The pano is made from three seperate shots and taken about ten minutes after sundown.
I have taken many photos of the trees down this stretch of road and each time they come out a little different. The combination of stormy sky and the sun going down made for beautiful light and shadows.
Battle flags hanging in Worcester Cathedral. The phrase 'laid up' means when a battle flag has served its purpose and is 'put to rest', see link for a more 'in depth' explanation. Handheld, Hisy remote, Zeiss ExoLens (Wide-Angle) gently tickled in Snapseed on iPad Pro.

First I stopped in this beautiful park on the way to Lewis river falls. The current was very fast, and there was no reflection at all. I came here again early in the morning. The flow of the river was still strong, but when the sun lit the hill and the trees behind the bridge, the view was simply magical.
