I know the lyrics are looking for a different visual, but somehow this scene works nicely for me with this song. Maybe it is the contrast of the solitary woman leading the horse to storage silos.
Done with the 70-300mm, which I haven't used in a long time.
This Zero was captured on the island of Saipan in World War II and used for evaluation by the U.S. Army Air Corps. Charles Lindbergh was one of the pilots who test flew this one.
I went to Amsterdam on business, and fortunately managed to find time to go to FOAM (www.foam.org/home). There was a fabulous exhibition of Russian colour photography from the early 20th Century. I would definitely recommend FOAM...and its a decent place for lunch too.

Kaos - Lytham
Matted everything down and added some gloss to the dials. I also made the harness from Aizu and alu tape, although the long strap might need shifting up as it doesn't wrap around enough for comfort.

A later model of Zero, restored and repainted to represent one of those which attacked Pearl Harbor.
The Zero, built for speed and maneuverability, flew metaphorical circles around the more powerful, but heavier and slower American planes in early clashes. Within a few years, however, American tactical and technological advances destroyed the Japanese advantage; new versions of the Zero were used later in the war, but the essentially obsolete concept was never fully replaced with something new, innovative, and better.
