A quick and simple filler pattern, ideal for a bit of colour as well. Developed from the vertical line doodles and filling in the white space.

I think this one is a bit of a retro pattern, but the steps are all mine. It could almost be Curly Braces Five!

I picked up a sharpie and thought it was black. Turned out to be purple so I just continued. I like the purple better than the blue. I obviously still have swirls and flowers stuck in my head, so I thought I would share this. this photo doesn't do this justice. It's actually a really vibrant purple, but for some reason it's showing a little faded here. Probably just my lighting.

Doubtful is your grace.

My mind is changed.

8x8 cardstock, black fineliner

This one was inspired by a Victorian carved balustrade, with the quatrefoil being a hole in the wood panelling.

Original doodle art design. Sharpie on acrylic inks. 5 x 7 inch canvas covered hardboard.

Using the holes left by die-cut butterflies I've used in my card-making. Filling the spaces with tangles, doodles, shading, black and white Sakura ink.

I started these a week or two before I went into hospital and finished it (...?) last night.

Thanks for looking ❤

Let's start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start, with the letters ABC cunningly combined to form this great tangle pattern. Chance for some shading on this one to highlight some of the hidden shapes, e.g. the band formed by the base section of the 'A'.
