What a tough Challenge this was!! Doing a monotangle is quite difficult made even more daunting using your non dominant hand - in my case my left - it's not very interesting to me, lacks substance but it did make me Zen out even more so than usual - thanks for looking :)
here is the link if you have time to see how others approached this challenge iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com.au/
I did this group with just a compass and played with different circles. Just kept putting the point where two circles would meet. Then I zentangled them!!
Have you ever just had one of those days? Nothing goes right and everything takes a hundred times longer than normal? I've definitely had what Anne Shirley would describe as a jonah day. Camera battery dying mid-photoshoot (the only battery), card reader not working on the laptop, computer running slower than a old 90's desktop.
A Popped bike tire tube , and a neighbor dog digging up three zucchini plants in the garden didn't help my mood either.
Anyway after a long walk and making a smoothie/Popsicle with little bro, things seem to be running better.

Doodling in my drawing journal- I'm not through with circles yet, but this seemed a good change of venue for now. :)

Step by Step pattern 'X'
was trying to work out a simpler way of drawing my pattern 'X'
what I discovered was it does not have to be in the round and I think it lends itself beautifully to squares or rectangles.
I traced the heart as I wanted it to be fairly balanced (I don't normally use pencil) and I wanted to use the same pattern all over, but vary it. I blackened the areas around the stars to make the heart stand out.
I would love to see your creations :)
Thanks for looking.
