Step by Step pattern 'X'

was trying to work out a simpler way of drawing my pattern 'X'

what I discovered was it does not have to be in the round and I think it lends itself beautifully to squares or rectangles.

I traced the heart as I wanted it to be fairly balanced (I don't normally use pencil)

10.5cm round cardboard boxes, spray painted white, then tangled.... am going to spray varnish on them for a gloss look and also for protection.

it's so hard for me to get away from structure - I don't do organic and Zendala's well at all.... I just can't see it.
