My first attempt at using this tangle, Bridgen. At first I wasn't sure what I was doing, then I just kept making string and connectors and kind of figured out what I was supposed to do.

Finally got around to adding some color to this piece! ... Hope everyone here in the U.S. that are in the high heat zone are staying cool & safe ... it's actually dangerous to spend much time outdoors right now ... Stay well my Flickr friends! :)

We did not have a White Christmas this year. I'm ok with that. I prefer snowflakes on paper.

Fine liner zentangle doodle art design, coloured with carand'ache water colour crayon.

This took a complete diff direction to where I started. But it's all good!

I started with the tangle "Florz"

Premier essai d'intégration du motif Seton de Cris LETOURNEAU. le motif central est une déviation de ce motif (pattern) dès l'étape 3 de sa réalisation. Voir le pas à pas présenté dans le dessin suivant.

Some process shots. The outline of the elephant was constructed carefully. The stuff on the right hand side was thrown down without thinking.

Weekly Challenge #129: String Theory v. XXV: TanglelPatterns String#004

I have been so busy this week and I finally managed to get some tangling done - so here is my entry to this week's Diva Challenge. Not quite what I imagined it to look like and I am happy with it - I used 'Pais' for the string and ended up putting a border of 'Nvelope'. Also came across a pattern by Traci Frogly called Thumbprintz - its fab!! I love it!! Thanks for stopping by :)

Created using my Single Stroke Abstract drawing method.

Abstract doodle art design based on an outline of my right hand.

"mum, I need a new book bag"

"where's last years?"

Dont know. I need another one."

"well, there are two perfectly good ones there, pick one"

"but they have Boys names on"

"I'll fix that. Get me a vivid" '(sharpie)

result, one perfectly acceptable book bag!

This was fun to do, and I actually Zentangled in the true sense. No pencil, no rubber, no plan. Just did!

I always do all my coloring by hand, but for some reason tonight when I was doing my negatives, I decided to try the same technique of adding color as I do in the negs. & this was the result ... felt a little like cheating, but thought the colors were kind of pretty, so thought I'd post it anyway ... I like my hand coloring better! :) THANKS EVERYONE! HUGS & SMILES! :)

Pretty much hid the string on this one, but if you compare it to the string I've posted you can still pick it out ... I've always had a thing for vintage hats, love them, to display , but I can't wear them, I put one on & start looking for a halloween treat bag! :) ... One more of these & I'm done for awhile, although I think Honey got a kick out of being a part of this challenge too! :)
