I did this group with just a compass and played with different circles. Just kept putting the point where two circles would meet. Then I zentangled them!!

This is the negative of " Hearts of gold " with color removed & then tinted, looks like a different piece :)

HI everyone! ... been a whole week sinse I've had a chance to sit & tangle even for a few minutes! ... Did this late last nite ... For some reason the colors look washed out from the original piece , especially the background, but when I hit the enhance button it went way to far the other way & was so bright, that I decided to post it just as is ... I did however do a few negatives with some interesting results, will leave them in my photostream for you to look at if you like ... have been missing you all , will stop in whenever I can steal a few free minutes! :)

This is a nice space filler. It was really hard trying to draw the same "random" dots three times! :)

Finally got my camera back so I can post new pics. I managed to participate and finish a Diva Challenge Weekly Challenge #56: "Non Dominatrix* v.2"

Firstly, this challenge was so hard. Having to use my non dominant hand was very difficult. I did learn a few new things, namely: my hand and arm got very tired from holding a death grip on the pen; it takes a very long time to tangle this out and fill in spaces; and lastly, I certainly can't draw proper circles with my left hand. My fern however, doesn't look too bad..... I hope all you zentanglers give this a go, it's not easy. At least for me it wasn't.

Here it is with the colors inverted & then I added in a little pink! :) Forgot to say I mirrored it & flipped it upside down for a completely different look ... :)

not sure if this qualifies as my take on the pattern is somewhat different - anyhow its a fun piece to do :) iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com.au/

Fun Kitty ATC using Zig 01,03 and 05 pens. Accent with greens and blues from Gelly Roll.

some things of late

Sponged distressed ink on vanilla cardstock, then drew some patterns with 'Crystal Effects'. When dry filled with tangles.

Thanks for looking :)

I'm running a little behind with the Dares - For this one we were asked to do something that we don't usually do. That's not as easy as you may think :)

I usually print off all 3 sizes of the templates, then I usually do all 3. This time I've only used the large template. I've also used a couple of patterns that I've not used before, they are Boomerang (variation) and Loblolly.

Summer and time to doodle! butterlfy flowers and fishys!

A few 3.5 inch X 3.5 inch tiles I've been working on this weekend.

I'm giving these to a friend - I hope they like them.

Thanks for looking :)

My first pattern. Not sure if it's new or not. Figured I'd post it just in case. The closer together you make the columns, the more it looks like knitting. If anyone uses it,. please send me a link!

Used my Single Stroke Abstract drawing method for this little piece of migraine art a few weeks back.

I think this will make a pretty greeting card ... just love playing with the negs. & inverting colors!

I am the Diva's week 14 challenge.

I am a little embarrassed to post it after some of the art I have seen...but this is what I managed!

Added 20 January 2013 - I have now posted step by step for my 'Angel' pattern. I decided to call the pattern 'Charris' - named after our 2 Jack Russels (Charlie and Harris) who are sadly no longer with us :(

This is a fairly easy pattern to draw. You can grab the pattern worksheet and watch a quick video showing the steps at: rainbowelephant.com
