SP34 Canberra to Sydney Xplorer has just topped the hill at Exeter, the highest point on the main south line between Goulburn and Sydney. A summer storm is not far behind.
Exeter NSW that is, a small village in the NSW southern highlands. The station sees low patronage, but it is the highest station still in use on the Sydney-Melbourne line, at 719 metres (2360 feet).
The approaching train is SP34 up Canberra Xplorer.
