Canberra Xplorer and an Endeavour share the platform at Moss Vale. We suspected that the Xplorer was running a bit behind, and the Endeavour needed to clear the down main.

Operating in lieu of the usual XPT on the Central West run to and from Dubbo, a five-car Xplorer railcar drops down the grade towards Farmers Creek and Bowenfels as it returns to Sydney. The cloud shadow followed the train through the scene which has happened a bit lately :-(

If I had an extra $14,500 laying around, I'd sure be tempted to get this for a great little quickie trip photo RV. It is fully self contained with a generator, toilet, shower & kitchen and can be parked anywhere you can park a car. It would be pretty cozy for more than 2 people but it sure has a lot of potential. I wonder if he would take $14,475?

SN12 AEG is an Alexander Dennis E40D Enviro 400 H45/28F new to First Devon and Cornwall in March 2012. All nine of these were transferred to First Bristol at Hengrove around the end of 2016 and painted with orange fronts on urban livery for service 50. All nine moved to Wells in late 2019 and are now in Mendip Xplorer livery , replacing the unloved Streetdecks new in 2015.

ST23 Sydney-Melbourne XPT caught up and for a while, both trains shared the platform.
Due to the derailment of a coal train on the line to Narrabri, the Northern Tablelands Xplorer was only a single set on this day (normally it is two sets, which divide at Werris Creek). Passengers for stations between Moree and Werris Creek would travel on coaches to/from Werris Creek.
The Griffith Xplorer returning to Sydney drifts through Galong on 29 November. This train had passed an opposing XPT movement only minutes before and the semaphore signal alongside, showing a Caution indication, was still to return to Clear.
This is the cage at Moree Railway Station were the Xplorer sleeps each night before returning to Sydney. The line on the left crosses the Gwydir highway and heads onto the Mungindi and Inverell branch lines.
