Even though it's the house that's centered, the star is the van, my grandparents' motorhome. And that might be their baby blue "Opel 1900" Sportwagen (called an Ascona in Europe) peeking in from the right.
I think that's an in-camera double-exposure, with a Christmas tree ghosted in. This was during my waist-level TLR phase, hence the wretched composition (also, I was 8).

This year I am making Photography Calendars, and so if you still like my work as much as all your favourites and comments say you do, here is the EBAY link: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/375115679073?hash=item5756a30561:g:Xrc..., and you do not need an EBAY Account to buy one, as you can "Check Out as Guest".

Over the weekend of 14th -15th September 2024, a two car Xplorer consisting of cars 2502/2522 was used on a number of what seems to be some particular test/trial runs, which included several runs from the Meeks Road Goods Junction to Hurstville and return.
Seeing an Xplorer on the Illawarra line is quite a rare sight, as seen here with the cars passing through on the Up through Carlton.

Canberra Xplorer and an Endeavour share the platform at Moss Vale. We suspected that the Xplorer was running a bit behind, and the Endeavour needed to clear the down main.

Operating in lieu of the usual XPT on the Central West run to and from Dubbo, a five-car Xplorer railcar drops down the grade towards Farmers Creek and Bowenfels as it returns to Sydney. The cloud shadow followed the train through the scene which has happened a bit lately :-(

If I had an extra $14,500 laying around, I'd sure be tempted to get this for a great little quickie trip photo RV. It is fully self contained with a generator, toilet, shower & kitchen and can be parked anywhere you can park a car. It would be pretty cozy for more than 2 people but it sure has a lot of potential. I wonder if he would take $14,475?
