I worry about this soul, who appears to have some sort of palsy. On a chilly day he is shirtless. On colder days he usually wears only a tee shirt. He always seems under-dressed as he collects his bottles and cans.

Late upload, sorry...

These cute plush toys will "hold your worries so you don't have to". Very cute concept, I think! They have been out overseas, but are making their US appearance in 2015. They aren't officially out yet, but will be soon!

Would I still feel feminine? For more info see my blog: www.dneese.blogspot.com

every vacationer enjoys this moment...

On Tuesday we went to the local library to take part in their school holiday programme. They were making worry dolls for one of the activities, something Kyla and I had planned to do after reading about them in The Daring Book for Girls. The girls enjoyed it so much that they spent the afternoon at home making a whole set.

You are supposed to have seven, one for each night. You tell them your worry, then place them under your pillow, and by the end of the week you will be worry free. They have been doing it everynight, so cute.

Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere. ~Glenn Turner

We took the cheaper ferry to the Orkneys, which is not roll-on/roll-off. Caravans have to be reversed on, and my mother isn't confident enough at reversing to do it. So someone from the ferry company took over, while she stood and watched nervously...

A local couple has a pottery shop and sells their works of art at arts and crafts festivals. These are called, "Worry Stones." You rub them when you have worries! These are just a few (just a tad dusty too!) of the many we have around our house and cabin.

One of the lasses asked that her picture be taken in Marikina's Rehiyon-rehiyon Festival. I, of course, happily obliged.

Komboloi or Worry Beads are considered to be a form of therapy for many Greeks living and working in today's fast-paced world. From quitting smoking, to stopping their over-eating problem, Komboloi Worry beads have aided millions with ventilating the daily pressures and stresses.

During the height of a recent snowstorm we had, I happened to grab this shot of this female Northern Cardinal, perched in the gardenia bush, waiting her turn at one of the nearby feeders.

Couldn't help but notice she didn't seem too upset by all that the cold, wet snow. Perhaps this wasn't her first snowstorm, so she wasn't too concerned because she knew ChicaD's feeders and Goodie Bowls were going to be filled throughout the day.
